(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DFDV#NASDAQ">DFDV</a>), Upexi (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UPXI#NASDAQ">UPXI</a>), and SOL Strategies (CSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HODL#CSE">HODL</a>), predicting significant share price growth as Solana's high-performance blockchain gains traction in digital finance.

DeFi Development Corp. is positioned as a leader, with a crypto-native management team and validator acquisitions. 
"DFDV has the second-largest SOL position, has a crypto-native management team, has acquired multiple validators, and has access to the U.S. and European capital markets," the report notes. 
The firm expects DFDV to raise "$250m in annual capital markets proceeds at an average premium of 250%," leveraging its U.S. listing to boost SOL-per-share.
Upexi, with the largest SOL holding at 679,677 tokens, benefits from NASDAQ liquidity but lacks validator operations. 
"Upexi currently has the largest SOL position, sitting at 679,677, all of which was amassed this year," the report states. 
It projects UPXI raising "$250m in annual capital markets proceeds at an average premium of 200%," though its non-crypto-native management and reliance on delegated staking may limit long-term SOL accretion.

"HODL is close to the finish line for a potential U.S. listing, with a few ‘short items' being sorted," the analysts write, noting that this could "supercharge demand and liquidity" compared to its current $0.387 billion trailing twelve-month average daily volume.
The report emphasizes staking as a growth driver, with 66% of SOL staked yielding returns above the 4.518% inflation rate. 
"Combining staking with treasury operations should result in Solana treasury companies growing SOL/share faster than BTC treasury companies," the analysts assert, highlighting DFDV and HODL's validator operations as an advantage over UPXI.
Real-world adoption bolsters Solana's outlook, with initiatives like Robinhood's (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HOOD#NASDAQ">HOOD</a>) blockchain-based securities trading, Apollo's $82 million tokenized credit fund, and Kraken's 24/7 tokenized U.S. stock trading. 
These projects "highlight increasing user interactions due to the blockchain's high throughput and low fees," per the report.
However, risks loom, including regulatory uncertainty around SOL's classification and potential Solana ETF approvals. 
"If the SEC classifies SOL as a security, this will add significant reporting, disclosure, and compliance requirements," the analysts warn. 
A Bloomberg-estimated 70% chance of ETF approval could reduce demand for treasury companies, though their staking benefits maintain appeal.

Ball shares are trading higher after the company announced a $250 million accelerated share repurchase agreement.

Ball Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BALL#NYSE">BALL</a>) announced today an agreement to repurchase approximately $250 million of its outstanding common stock in a privately negotiated, accelerated stock repurchase transaction with Crédit Agricole CIB, using cash on hand and available borrowings.
Subject to certain conditions, the transaction will commence today and will significantly reduce Ball's outstanding common stock. Final share counts will be determined based on the volume weighted average price over the agreement period and subject to customary market‑price adjustment terms at the conclusion of the accelerated stock repurchase transaction, which may require a settlement to be made by Ball, or to Ball, based generally on the volume weighted average trading price of the company's common stock over an agreed upon period of time.

What To Know: The stock movement came after it was revealed that Trump met with EchoStar President Charlie Ergen and FCC Chairman Brendan Carr in the Oval Office to push for a resolution regarding the company's threatened wireless spectrum licenses, according to <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-06-13/trump-urged-ergen-carr-to-cut-a-deal-on-echostar-spectrum?embedded-checkout=true">Bloomberg.</a>
The FCC had launched an investigation in May into whether EchoStar was fulfilling its obligations to utilize valuable spectrum assets for wireless and satellite communications. Facing mounting pressure from regulators and financial strain, including missed bond payments and discussions of potential bankruptcy, Ergen sought direct talks with Carr. After initial attempts to reach him were unsuccessful, the two finally met Wednesday. Carr reportedly told Ergen that EchoStar risked losing its licenses unless it began selling portions of its underutilized spectrum.
 Trump, concerned about the broader implications of a major American company collapsing, called Carr into the Oval Office during the meeting and urged both parties to reach an agreement. 
While EchoStar has not yet made any public statements, the White House has also declined to comment on specifics.

What's Going On With EchoStar Shares Today?

Christopher Perkins, President of CoinFund and a former Wall Street executive, believes the next chapter of crypto adoption hinges on clarity—<a href="http://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/02/44063764/cryptos-trump-era-honeymoon-fades-as-regulatory-reality-sets-in">regulatory, technological, and strategic. </a>
In an interview with Benzinga, Perkins discussed everything from AI-powered networks to staking yields, tokenized fund structures, and Washington's evolving stance on digital assets.
At the heart of Perkins&#8217; long-term thesis is a commitment to fundamentals over hype. 
When asked about the investability of AI-token and DePIN projects, he was blunt: "We don't like to invest on narrative. We like to invest on fundamentals." 
CoinFund has made numerous bets in the space. 
"It&#8217;s all about utility. It&#8217;s all about understanding the value that is derived from that utility," he said, pointing to examples like autonomous lawn robots powered by hyper-precise location data from DePIN networks.
Perkins is no stranger to regulatory entanglements. 
A former managing director at Citi during the Dodd-Frank era, he learned early on that "you can't win the game if you don't know the rules." 
Today, he sees the absence of a clear taxonomy, particularly around what constitutes a security versus a commodity, as the biggest hurdle to U.S. innovation. 
"What we're confronted with right now&#8230; is glitter clarity," he said, referring to the SEC's ambiguity under former chair Gary Gensler. 
Perkins remains optimistic about the new administration, describing the approach under President Donald Trump and current congressional leaders as "principled" and "coordinated."
Stablecoins, in his view, are on the verge of a breakout. 
With a Senate vote on stablecoin legislation expected soon, Perkins pointed to growing interest from the U.S. Treasury and traditional finance institutions. 
"Today, we're at $250 billion in stablecoin market cap. That could expand to $2 trillion, according to the Treasury." For DeFi, this capital influx could be transformative. 
"There's no yield today. Guess what? That's a depreciating asset unless you find yield&#8230; and those agents, those AIs that are now coming on the scene, are going to help optimize that."
On staking, Perkins sees parallels between proof-of-stake layer-1s and traditional finance benchmarks.

"Every single layer-1&#8230; has a benchmark rate. That rate can unleash an entire array of fixed-income products." 
While most retail users focus on price action, institutions are eyeing yield curves and staking-derived returns as the next structured product opportunity.
Perkins is also enthusiastic about tokenization, calling it crypto's "secret power of capital formation." 
He noted that the meme coin market reached $40 billion last year, compared to just $30 billion for the entire venture capital market. 
"Anyone with an internet connection around the world can access these asset classes," he said. With minor regulatory assistance, tokenized fund structures could democratize exposure to previously inaccessible public markets.
Asked about the future of blockchain architecture, Perkins avoids binary arguments. "We're not monolithic versus modular maxis," he explained. 
While institutions tend to prefer modular ecosystems for control and customization, monolithic chains like Solana continue to deliver high-throughput applications that are difficult to ignore.
Perkins also addressed growing interest from retail giants in consumer-facing stablecoins. 
"Walmart and Amazon are talking about launching one. The banks are watching&#8230; it&#8217;s going to be a battle for distribution." 
On regulation, Perkins applauded recent efforts by the CFTC and the SEC's crypto task force to engage meaningfully with DeFi experts. 
"The very act of understanding informs policy. Hopefully we get to a place where we clarify what is decentralized, what is not, and how it&#8217;s regulated."
Perkins says founder quality is his north star. 
"We invest in the strongest of founders across every single vertical," stressing that CoinFund's thesis rests on one principle: find the value, not just the hype.

The film grossed $83.7 million domestically in its opening weekend and has a total worldwide gross of $197.8 million, as reported by <a href="https://deadline.com/2025/06/box-office-how-to-train-your-dragon-1236432834/">Deadline</a>. This total is the best domestic opening weekend for the franchise, breaking the totals of the previous three animated hits.

The latest film opening is significantly higher than any of the animated films and gave movie theaters a strong Father's Day weekend total of $155 million. The total was down from last year's $214 million, helped by "Inside Out 2," but ahead of a pre-COVID 2019 total of $135.9 million.
While the film&#8217;s success doesn't mean we'll get live-action "Shrek" or "Kung Fu Panda" movies anytime soon, it does mean that Comcast has another extension of one of its strong Dreamworks Animation franchises. The studio is already working on a sequel to the live-action film, which will be released on June 11, 2027.
Strong demand for the film's trailers, which had three-quarters of a billion views before the release, helped. The movie studio also worked on several promotional campaigns, including with Roblox, Burger King, WWE, the NBA, and the NHL.
A "How to Train Your Dragon"-themed game within Roblox has had over 10 million plays and is on pace to be Universal&#8217;s most-played Roblox integration.

Why It's Important: The success of "How to Train Your Dragon" could have reciprocal effects on the company's streaming platform that will land the film in the future and the company's theme parks division with a new Epic Universe park in Florida featuring the franchise in several immersive worlds.
It also sets Comcast up for a strong 2025 box office showing with another top hit. The movie is already ranked 12th domestically for year-to-date box office. Comcast's only current top-10 film is "Dog Man," which had $98.0 million in domestic box office and will likely fall from the top 10 soon.
Comcast had four top-ten films domestically last year and ranked second by studios at $1.74, trailing only Disney.
The company's upcoming film slate includes a couple of Dreamworks Animation with "The Bad Guys 2" in August and "Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie" in September.
Comcast also has several upcoming blockbusters including July's "Jurassic World Rebirth" and November's "Wicked: For Good."
Last year's "Wicked" ranked third domestically and was one of the top-grossing films worldwide for the year. The last Jurassic World franchise movie came out in 2022 and grossed $376.9 million domestically and over $1 billion worldwide.
A continued strong showing by "How to Train Your Dragon" could help pad Comcast's box office total as it heads into the release of other highly anticipated films in 2025.
CMCSA Price Action: Comcast stock traded at $34.98 on Monday, compared to a 52-week trading range of $31.44 to $45.31. Comcast stock is down 6.5% year-to-date in 2025.

CryptoCon highlights a back-to-back Hash Ribbons buy signal, a rare and historically powerful bullish indicator. This signal, combined with low volatility, has typically preceded major rallies.
Interestingly, CryptoCon notes that Bitcoin has not yet entered the High Volatility zone where past cycle tops have formed. He refers to the current phase as the "weed-out cycle," testing the conviction of market participants before the next major leg higher.
