The fund also aims for capital growth, so although income is the main event, possible profit from price rises isn&#8217;t ruled out.
To maintain things smoothly in motion, the ETF will carry at most 10% in cash, money market funds or short-term Treasuries, used as collateral or a liquidity cushion. The options strategy, on the other hand, is managed actively based on stock liquidity, price levels, implied volatility and general market conditions.

The company has had mixed recent results, beating earnings per share in fourth straight quarters, while missing revenue estimates from analysts in six straight quarters. Analysts expect the company to report earnings per share of 67 cents, up from 56 cents per share in last year's first quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in eight straight quarters. Investors will be looking for a strong first quarter and positive commentary to kick things off in 2025.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in two straight quarters and for earnings per share in four of the last five quarters. In the earnings results, the company reported strong Card Member spending and higher net interest income. The company said it is seeing steady spending and credit trends despite the macroeconomic concerns. Bank of America recently <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/upgrades/25/04/44768565/american-express-receives-upgrade-what-makes-this-stock-so-appealing">upgraded the stock</a> from Neutral to Buy given it high-quality customer base that could keep credit losses in check. During uncertain times, credit card spending could increase and American Express remains a stock to watch with the stock up around 16% over the last year.

What Happened: <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/25/02/43985233/mark-cuban-calls-deductibles-the-biggest-problem-in-healthcare-system-needs-to-be-redesigned">Cuban</a> proposed a new way for high-skilled workers to obtain U.S. citizenship in his latest X post.
Agreeing with President Trump on generating revenue via handing over citizenships, Cuban added that corporations could pay $5 million for an employee earning over $500,000 per year to get immediate citizenship, provided they pass a thorough background check.
Cuban argues that if a person is highly valuable to a company, the company should be willing to pay for the right to employ them in the U.S. He further suggests that if companies are not going to hire American workers, they should at least contribute to the tax base for the privilege of hiring foreign talent.

Why It Matters: As the President and corporate tycoons agree to generate revenue via this route, a 2024 report by the American Immigration Council highlighted that immigrant entrepreneurs make up 22.6% of all entrepreneurs nationwide.
According to the study, from the New American companies that made the 2024 Fortune 500 list, 46%, or 230 companies, were founded by immigrants or their children and each company employs about 67,332 workers.

Price Action: The SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SPY#NYSE">SPY</a>) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QQQ#NASDAQ">QQQ</a>), which track the S&amp;P 500 index and Nasdaq 100 index, respectively, rose on Friday.
