He, however, believes that negotiations with China will be a lot more fraught since Chinese Premier Xi Jinping &#8220;doesn&#8217;t face elections&#8221; and is thus less likely to blink, preferring to inject a massive fiscal stimulus package, devalue the Yuan, or boost domestic consumption instead.
While he is no fan of Trump&#8217;s trade policies, calling them &#8220;crazy and unfair,&#8221; Roubini does concede that China &#8220;needs to reform its economic model,&#8221; adding that it&#8217;s not just the U.S. demanding change, but &#8220;rest of the world expects it too.&#8221;

The caption?

And Ramsey didn't stop there. He followed it up with a caption that hits harder than a monthly payment:
"That $72,000 BMW isn't just costing you a car payment. It's costing you your future."
He's not exaggerating. <a href="https://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/average-car-loan-interest-rates-by-credit-score/">According to Experian</a>, the average new car loan now clocks in at $40,927, with monthly payments pushing $734 for 68.4 months. Meanwhile, car values plummet the second you drive off the lot.&nbsp;
"Let me break it down: Open your car window on the way to work once a week and toss out a $100 bill. That's what driving a new car really costs you."

Ramsey's take on 0% interest? Not impressed."Even 0% interest isn't a deal. It's a distraction from the $17K you just lost in depreciation. You didn't get a car. You got taken."

Dave Ramsey Says If You Want To Know What Driving A New Car Really Costs, 'Open Your Car Window Once A Week And Toss Out A $100 Bill'

BofA Securities analyst Craig Siegenthaler downgraded Cboe Global Markets Inc. (BATS:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CBOE#BATS">CBOE</a>) from Buy to Neutral, lowering the price <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/CBOE/analyst-ratings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">target to $227 from $260</a>.
The analyst noted that while the broader diversified financials sector has declined 10% year-to-date amid the growing tariff dispute, CBOE Global Markets has stood out by delivering a 5% return —outperforming its peers by about 15%.
This strong performance, according to Siegenthaler, is largely attributed to CBOE&#8217;s defensive business model, which tends to benefit during periods of heightened market volatility and increased trading volumes.
However, despite the solid year-to-date gains, the analyst expressed caution going forward.

The stock's recent outperformance has led to a &#8220;higher relative valuation&#8221; compared to peers.
Siegenthaler pointed out that CBOE&#8217;s next 12 months, or NTM price-to-earnings ratio, has increased by 2% so far this year, while the average PE multiple for the broader diversified financials sector has dropped by 13%. As a result, CBOE now appears about 15% more expensive compared to its peers on a relative valuation basis.
The analyst also pointed to potential deceleration in trading volumes during the second half of 2025, which could weigh on future performance.
Siegenthaler writes that the first half of 2025 will likely mark the cyclical peak for exchange volumes, with a significant decline expected in the second half.
The analyst projects a 6% drop in volumes from the first to the second half of the year, and only a 7% year-over-year increase in total options volume for 2H25.
The analyst is especially concerned about the retail trading segment, where participation may fall due to poor investor performance so far this year.
Siegenthaler lowered earnings estimates for the second half of 2025 and the following years.
The new projections are $4.60 for the second half of 2025, $9.89 for 2026, and $11.37 for 2027 — down from previous estimates of $5.07, $11.16, and $12.99, respectively.
CBOE Price Action: CBOE shares closed Thursday up 2.05% to $210.02.

CBOE Loses Its Edge? Analyst Downgrades Stock On Valuation Worries, Volume Slowdown

Goldman Sachs analyst Mark Delaney upgraded BorgWarner Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BWA#NYSE">BWA</a>) from Neutral to Buy, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/BWA/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">with a price forecast of $34</a>.
Per Delaney, BorgWarner has a below-average level of U.S. imports, which means it faces relatively limited risk from ongoing or future tariffs.
In contrast to many Western suppliers that have struggled in China due to an unfavorable customer mix, BorgWarner stands out with a stronger positioning in the region.

Delaney highlighted that BorgWarner's hybrid and internal combustion engine products are expected to have a longer runway, and the company's broad portfolio—which includes products for all powertrain types—positions it well to navigate evolving market trends.
The analyst also highlighted that BorgWarner has a number of upcoming product launches with domestic Chinese auto OEMs, further strengthening its foothold in this key market.
With higher content per vehicle opportunities in both hybrid and battery electric vehicles, BorgWarner is expected to benefit from the rising share of hybrid volumes in the near to medium term.
While its eProduct division is still operating at a loss, the analyst stated that ongoing restructuring efforts, coupled with long-term growth, will help the company move toward profitability.
Price Action: BWA shares closed lower by 4.54% to $25.67 on Thursday.
