What To Know: The move comes after weeks of speculation following reports that Autodesk was considering a major cash-and-stock deal for the industrial software firm. Investors reacted positively to the decision, reversing some of the pressure that had weighed on Autodesk stock since the initial reports surfaced.
Shares of Autodesk had fallen over 10% since July 8, the day before <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-07-14/autodesk-is-said-to-drop-pursuit-of-software-firm-ptc?srnd=technology-ai&amp;embedded-checkout=true">Bloomberg </a>reported that the company was exploring a potential acquisition of PTC. The proposed deal would have ranked among the largest in the software sector this year, potentially reshaping Autodesk&#8217;s strategic direction. On Friday, Autodesk shares closed at $280.39, giving the company a market value of around $60 billion. PTC's market capitalization stands at roughly $23.2 billion.
In a regulatory filing on Monday, Autodesk confirmed that it would remain focused on its existing strategic priorities. These include investing in its core business, pursuing smaller targeted acquisitions, and continuing its share repurchase program. The company made no mention of PTC or any other acquisition targets in the filing, signaling that it intends to stick with its organic growth plans rather than pursuing large-scale deals.
PTC, founded in the 1980s, specializes in software that supports manufacturers in designing complex products such as aircraft, electronics, and medical devices. The announcement comes amid Bitcoin's recent surge past $122,000, underscoring Strategy's aggressive buy-the-dip approach that now spans across more than three years and multiple bull-bear cycles.
What makes this purchase noteworthy isn't just the size, but the source of the funds: Strategy financed the latest acquisition using proceeds from four concurrent at-the-market (ATM) equity offerings, including its common stock and three series of preferred shares (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/STRK#NASDAQ">STRK</a>), (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/STRF#NASDAQ">STRF</a>) and (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/STRD#NASDAQ">STRD</a>).

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">PATHFNDR-1 Open-Label Extension (OLE) Study</h2>
The PATHFNDR-1 Phase 3 trial enrolled adults with acromegaly who were biochemically controlled on monthly injectable <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/07/g46383977/crinetics-to-present-new-long-term-data-demonstrating-durable-control-of-once-daily-oral-palsonify" rel="noreferrer noopener">somatostatin receptor ligands (SRLs)</a>.
Following a 36-week randomized, placebo-controlled period, 53 of 58 participants (91%) entered the ongoing single-arm open-label extension. An interim analysis includes data through week 96 of total study participation (60 weeks in the OLE).
In patients who transitioned from injected SRLs to once-daily oral palsonify, mean insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) levels remained stable with IGF-1 (mean ± SE) of 0.93 ± 0.22 at OLE baseline and 0.81 ± 0.21 times the upper limit of normal (ULN) at week 96, demonstrating durable biochemical control over this period.
Growth hormone (GH) levels were also stable, with mean values of 1.0 ± 1.0 ng/mL at baseline and 1.1 ± 1.2 ng/mL at week 96.
Symptom control also remained stable at week 96.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">PATHFNDR-2 OLE Study</h2>
The interim analysis includes efficacy data from 88 patients through week 84 (corresponding to 60 weeks in the OLE), with safety data reported for all 114 enrolled.
Patients who had received a placebo during the RC phase experienced sustained reductions in IGF-1, with a mean change from baseline of –0.81 × ULN at week 84 (n=39).
Direct-to-OLE participants (n=9) showed similar reductions (–0.75 × ULN), while those who had been treated with palsonify during the RC phase (n=40) maintained control (mean change –0.01 × ULN).
Growth hormone, symptom scores, and pituitary tumor size were durably controlled over the study period.
In both trials, palsonify was well-tolerated.
A pooled analysis of symptom scores from PATHFNDR-1 and PATHFNDR-2 showed that greater proportions of patients treated with palsonify experienced less acromegaly symptom burden compared to placebo, regardless of the magnitude of the symptom effect, treatment history or state of biochemical disease control.
In an analysis of PATHFNDR-1 data, biochemically controlled patients switching from injected SRLs to palsonify saw a significant drop in day-to-day symptom exacerbations, from over 30% of days on SRLs to just 6.2% during stable palsonify dosing.

In the Phase 2b trial, a 90 mg once-daily dose of avexitide—now being evaluated in the Phase 3 LUCIDITY trial—achieved a 64% reduction in the rate of moderate to severe hypoglycemic events. More than half of participants experienced no such events during treatment.

LUCIDITY, a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, is evaluating the safety and efficacy of avexitide in approximately 75 patients with PBH following Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery. The FDA-designated primary endpoint is a reduction in Level 2 and 3 hypoglycemic events.
Previous trials, including Phase 2 PREVENT and Phase 2b, showed consistent, dose-dependent reductions in these events across multiple dosing regimens. Notably, the 90 mg once-daily dose demonstrated sustained 24-hour GLP-1 receptor inhibition, supported by pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data presented at ENDO 2025. In vitro studies confirmed potent target engagement, with avexitide plasma levels exceeding the IC₅₀ threshold throughout the dosing window.
Across five clinical trials, avexitide has shown statistically and clinically meaningful efficacy with a favorable safety profile. LUCIDITY is expected to complete enrollment in 2025, with top-line results anticipated in the first half of 2026 and a potential commercial launch in 2027.

With a spot ETF now filed, PENGU looks fundamentally strong and still early in its growth cycle.

Statistics: Pudgy Penguins NFT <a href="https://nftpricefloor.com/pudgy-penguins">reported</a> an expansion of 15.5% in its volume and 3.1% growth in sales. The average sale grew 12%. The price of Pudgy Penguin NFTs spiked from 9 ETH to 11.58 ETH in a week.
The price spike coincided with Coinbase <a href="https://x.com/coinbase/status/1943715559209590821?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">changing</a> its X profile picture to a Pudgy Penguin NFT, posting "new pfp, who dis." Other firms including VanEck, MoonPay, and AwakenTax followed suit, reinforcing community strength and meme power.
Community News: The SEC has acknowledged Canary Capital's filing for the Canary PENGU ETF. 
On July 9, the Cboe BZX Exchange submitted a proposal to list and trade shares of the fund, bringing PENGU one step closer to becoming the first meme coin ETF built around an NFT-native brand.

Pudgy Penguins Coin PENGU Leaps Past Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Pepe With 93% Weekly Gain

As the tech industry increasingly pivots towards artificial intelligence, Salesforce (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRM#NYSE">CRM</a>) is positioning itself at the forefront of this shift with its AI-powered Service Cloud. This strategic move not only highlights the growing <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/artificial-intelligence">importance of AI</a> in driving business growth but also reshapes investor perceptions of Salesforce&#8217;s long-term potential.
Bank of America Securities analyst Brad Sills <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/CRM/analyst-ratings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">maintained a Buy</a> rating on Salesforce with a price target of $350 on Monday.
Salesforce is betting big on its largest business unit, Service Cloud, which analysts expect will generate $9.7 billion in fiscal 2026 revenue, making up 25% of total subscription revenue, Sills noted. In the first quarter of fiscal 2026, growth slowed slightly to 7%.

Still, after adjusting for leap year effects and rounding, the analyst noted that the normalized rate stands closer to 8.5%, indicating only a modest deceleration.
He noted the slowdown has bottomed out and projects acceleration to 9% in the coming quarters, trending toward 12% in the long run.
Sills noted that Service Cloud's growth potential stands out across the industry, with projected incremental gains of 21%, significantly ahead of the next closest competitor at 7%. The analyst attributed this outperformance to Service Cloud's user-friendly interface, deep customization, seamless integration across sales and service, and, most notably, Agentforce, Salesforce's AI-powered service agent suite.
He said that add-ons such as Service Cloud Voice, Field Service, Customer Experience Intelligence, and Digital Engagement represent durable upsell opportunities that support this bullish outlook.
Sills noted that Salesforce's Agentforce AI suite is becoming a central growth lever. In recent partner conversations, the analyst stated that use cases such as case management, meeting preparation, shipment tracking, and analytics were repeatedly cited. 
He expects Agentforce for Service Cloud to contribute $1.7 billion in revenue over the next five years, helping the platform achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9%, or 12% in an upside scenario. Sills noted that over 8,000 customers have already signed up for AI agents, with more than half of them converting to paying accounts.
The analyst noted that the Service Cloud platform provides agents with powerful tools, including AI-driven case routing, knowledge base searches, and self-service customer portals, making it a key enabler of customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
Salesforce offers pricing tiers ranging from the $25/month Starter Suite to the $550/month Agentforce 1 edition, which bundles AI credits and Data Cloud capacity for enterprise-scale deployments. According to the analyst, this flexible pricing model facilitates broad adoption across businesses of all sizes.
Crucially, Salesforce's go-to-market strategy integrates Agentforce into its existing customer base—60% of which already uses Sales or Service Cloud—allowing for easy cross-sell and bundled offerings, Sills noted. He said that by publicizing case studies from OpenTable, PepsiCo, and other enterprise users, Salesforce aims to demonstrate real-world benefits and drive deeper adoption of Agentforce.
The analyst noted that Salesforce is well-positioned to reaccelerate top-line growth with its AI-first vision, full-stack capabilities, and established customer base. He added that Service Cloud's continued evolution, primarily through Agentforce, may very well be the company's ticket to sustained leadership in enterprise software through the end of the decade.
Sills projected fiscal 2026 sales of $41.2 billion and EPS of $11.28.
