Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) continues to hover near key resistance levels, and while the path to $108,000 appears increasingly clear, traders are bracing for a short-term slowdown <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/money/bitcoin-price-prediction">before the next big move</a>.
What Happened: Crypto analyst Emperor <a href="https://x.com/EmperorBTC/status/1923026032573268309">noted</a> that Bitcoin has reclaimed a previous trading range and is now forming a new one between $94,000 and $108,000. 
The rapid recovery to the top of this range suggests the market is entering a temporary consolidation phase.
According to Emperor, immediate price targets include the $99,350 node point of control (nPOC) and the $107,000–$108,000 zone. 
While there's minimal resistance ahead, some ask walls have formed near $104,000–$104,500, if broken, price action could accelerate quickly to $108,000.
He adds that technical and volume support sits firmly between $98,000 and $99,000, aligned with Fibonacci retracements and prior key resistance-turned-support zones. 
Any sharp pullback into this zone, he suggests, would be a buy-the-dip opportunity, although he doesn't anticipate it yet.

Bitcoin Eyes $108,000, But One Thing Stands In The Way

Ibotta, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IBTA#NYSE">IBTA</a>) shares are trading higher Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected <a href="https://www.benzinga.com//node/45419267">first-quarter financial results.</a>
The Details: Ibotta reported adjusted earnings per share of 36 cents, beating the consensus estimate of 1 cent. In addition, the company reported sales of $84.57 million, beating the consensus estimate of $82.07 million and representing a 3% year-over-year increase.
&#8220;We made significant progress in the first quarter in establishing Ibotta as the first full-service performance marketing platform for the CPG industry,&#8221; said Ibotta CEO and founder, Bryan Leach. 
Outlook: Ibotta sees second quarter sales from $86.50 million to $92.50 million, versus the consensus estimate of $89.15 million.
Analyst Changes: Following the earnings report, multiple analysts issued price target adjustments.

JD.com shares are trading lower after several firms cut their respective price targets on the stock.

Shares of Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PLUG#NASDAQ">PLUG</a>) fell 9.85 during Wednesday&#8217;s session to 71 cents, extending a 15.8% decline over the past week, after reporting mixed first-quarter results.
While the company topped <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/05/45387898/plug-power-stock-is-tumbling-tuesday-whats-going-on">revenue expectations</a> with $133.67 million—up 11% year-over-year—investors reacted negatively to a wider-than-expected loss of 21 cents per share, missing the 19-cent estimate.
What To Know: Revenue growth was driven by a 575% year-over-year surge in GenEco electrolyzer sales, along with strength in material handling and cryogenic deployments. Despite this, the market remained focused on Plug's ongoing profitability and liquidity challenges.

'Qatar's Wealth Fund Plans $500 Billion US Push Over Next Decade'- Bloomberg

Roku Inc's (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ROKU#NASDAQ">ROKU</a>) CFO Dan Jedda has been responsible for the company's strong free cash flow (FCF) growth, according to Needham.
The Roku Analyst: <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/580607ae846faa000106ab43/laura-martin">Analyst Laura Martin</a> maintained a Buy rating and price target of $88.50.
The Roku Thesis: Jedda has taken the company from negative FCF of 150 million in 2022 to more than $200 million in 2024 and a guidance of over $350 million for 2025, Martin said in the note.

She mentioned some key takeaways from a recent discussion with experts about the future of CTV and Streaming/OTT.
"While bundling was seen as a defensive strategy, e-commerce linked CTV ad units and new SMB demand were raised as under exploited revenue growth levers," the analyst wrote.
Advertisement dollars are shifting from linear TV to connected TV. However, there is downward pressure on streaming ad unit CPMs (cost per thousand impressions). This is due to excess supply and lack of differentiation in ad units, she added.
Experts see GenAI as "both a cost saver and a new powerful personalized creative enabler, though it is still in its early stages of adoption," Martin further stated.
Price Action: Shares of Roku had declined by 1.71% to $70.65 at the time of publication on Thursday.

It is important for investors to look ahead and not in the rearview mirror.  Our proprietary Protection Band puts all of the data, all of the indicators, all of the news, all of the crosscurrents, all of the models, and all of the analysis in an analytical framework that is easily actionable by investors.
Consider continuing to hold good, very long term, existing positions. Based on individual risk preference, consider a protection band consisting of cash or Treasury bills or short-term tactical trades as well as short to medium term hedges and short term hedges. This is a good way to protect yourself and participate in the upside at the same time.
You can determine your protection bands by adding cash to hedges.&nbsp; The high band of the protection is appropriate for those who are older or conservative. The low band of the protection is appropriate for those who are younger or aggressive.&nbsp; If you do not hedge, the total cash level should be more than stated above but significantly less than cash plus hedges.
A protection band of 0% would be very bullish and would indicate full investment with 0% in cash.&nbsp; A protection band of 100% would be very bearish and would indicate a need for aggressive protection with cash and hedges or aggressive short selling.
It is worth reminding that you cannot take advantage of new upcoming opportunities if you are not holding enough cash.&nbsp; When adjusting hedge levels, consider adjusting partial stop quantities for stock positions (non ETF); consider using wider stops on remaining quantities and also allowing more room for high beta stocks.&nbsp; High beta stocks are the ones that move more than the market.
<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Traditional 60/40 Portfolio</h4>
Probability based risk reward adjusted for inflation does not favor long duration strategic bond allocation at this time.
Those who want to stick to traditional 60% allocation to stocks and 40% to bonds may consider focusing on only high quality bonds and bonds of five year duration or less.&nbsp; Those willing to bring sophistication to their investing may consider using bond ETFs as tactical positions and not strategic positions at this time.

Profits On Tactical Positions, Do Not Trust New Data And Walmart Earnings, Trump Scolds Apple

CoreWeave Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRWV#NASDAQ">CRWV</a>) shares surged to the highs of the session Thursday after a regulatory filing revealed an additional agreement <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/05/45421041/nvidia-backed-coreweave-reports-q1-earnings-revenue-jumps-420-backlog-grows-to-25-9-billion-following-openai-deal-shares-hit-all-time-highs">with OpenAI</a>. 
What Happened: CoreWeave shares have been volatile since the company reported first-quarter results after the market close on Wednesday. The company reported 420% revenue growth and said it had a revenue backlog of $25.9 billion at quarter's end.
CoreWeave said on the conference call following the report that it expects capital expenditures to be between $3 billion and $3.5 billion in the second quarter, and rise to $20 billion to $23 billion in full-year 2025.
The Nvidia-backed AI company also said it signed a $4 billion expansion with an AI enterprise on the call, but it did not disclose details or name the company.
In a regulatory <a href="https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0001769628/000176962825000014/crwv-20250331.htm#fact-identifier-993">filing</a> related to earnings on Thursday, the company revealed that it entered into additional agreements with OpenAI in May to provide the company with access to cloud computing capacity. CoreWeave disclosed that OpenAI has committed to pay the company up to $4 billion through April 2029 related to the agreement. 
Shares regained upward momentum on the news and surged to highs for the session. The stock was up 4.95% at $70.86 at the time of publication Thursday, according to <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com">Benzinga Pro</a>.
