Statistics: On-chain data shows a 112,839.2% spike in the burn rate over a single day. 
Within just nine hours, three major burn transactions were executed — including one that incinerated 97.6 million SHIB in a single go.
This spike in burns coincided with a rise in whale activity. 
According to IntoTheBlock, large transaction volume soared 93.3%, with the number of SHIB transactions over $100,000 climbing from 47 to 58.
Data from Shibariumscan reveals that daily transactions have surged to 4.5 million, building on momentum that began on June 6 when transaction count crossed 3.5 million. 
This uptick reflects growing utility and adoption of Shiba Inu's Layer-2 network.
Community News: The Shiba Inu team <a href="https://x.com/LucieSHIB/status/1931995389164499266">announced</a> a major upgrade aimed at improving token utility through enhanced DeFi integrations and new auto-burn features.

<li>Sell the position if the trade breaks your risk parameters for loss or gains. If you have no intention of buying the stock, set a threshold for profit. I like to use 1:1 risk-to-reward for these kinds of calendar spreads.</li>

Paul Tudor Jones on Wednesday emphasized that the United States is on a long-term trajectory of high budget deficits and constrained fiscal space, and the best investment strategy to withstand this environment centers around a diversified portfolio made up of <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/04/44977898/bitcoin-gold-are-top-inflation-hedges-says-coinbases-john-dagostino">Bitcoin, gold and equities</a>.
"What would an ideal portfolio be in something like that?" Jones said in an <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2025-06-11/tudor-jones-on-next-fed-chair-trump-budget-markets-video">interview</a> with Bloomberg.
"What has worked so far has been some combination of stocks… probably gold. Vol[atility] adjusted Bitcoin gold stocks. That's probably your best portfolio to fight inflation vol[atility] adjusted."
Jones explained that the allocation should reflect each asset&#8217;s risk profile, particularly Bitcoin's volatility. 
"The vol[atility] of Bitcoin is obviously five times that of gold," he said, adding that the construction of the portfolio must take that into account.
The comments were made in the context of a broader discussion about the U.S. fiscal outlook, where Jones argued that continued deficit spending, normalized under successive administrations, makes it highly likely that future policymakers will opt for monetary policy measures that suppress real interest rates.
"We are fiscally constrained and we're going to have budget deficits of 6 percent plus as far as the eye can see," Jones said. "One of the major offsets if I was the president would be to lower my interest rate costs by appointing a Fed chair who is as dovish as could possibly be."
He added that running negative real rates is historically consistent with how governments have dealt with high debt burdens. 
"That's the playbook when you're 100 percent debt to GDP and you're fiscally constrained," he said. "You can see it happening in Japan right now."
As such, Jones said he expects U.S. interest rates to fall significantly within the next 12 months.

"Twelve months from now, rates are going to drop precipitously with a new Fed chair," he said, referencing President Donald Trump&#8216;s statements <a href="https://in.investing.com/news/stock-market-news/trump-demands-100-bps-rate-cut-again-ahead-of-fed-meet--but-experts-warn-tariffs-could-stoke-inflation-4873226">advocating</a> a 100-basis-point cut.
The fund manager argued that this anticipated policy environment, low real interest rates, inflation running above target, and continued deficit expansion, makes traditional fixed income unattractive. 
Instead, assets with a historical track record of holding value during inflationary periods become more compelling.
Jones reiterated his past support for Bitcoin, which he first publicly backed in 2020 as a hedge against inflation. "If I'm a policymaker, I'm going to run really low real rates. I'm going to have inflation running hot and I'm going to tax the American consumer."
Comparing this to Japan's current economic strategy, Jones noted, "That's exactly what Japan, who's the most fiscally constrained in the world, is doing. And it works… until the population throws you out because you let inflation get too hot."
While stocks, in his view, "won't do great" in the event of a sharp fiscal reckoning or bond market shock, Jones still includes equities in his inflation hedge mix, albeit with caution. 
"The biggest threat to the stock market has been our fiscal profligacy… something like the big beautiful bill," he said, alluding to the cumulative impact of aggressive spending proposals.

The decision was shared in a company statement <a target="_blank" href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2025/06/11/frito-lay-plant-closing-rancho-cucamonga/84149067007/" rel="noreferrer noopener">emailed</a> to USA TODAY on June 11, and while the factory's production lines will be halted, the site's warehousing, distribution, transportation, and fleet services will remain operational, USA TODAY reports.
Frito-Lay North America's operating profit in the last reported <a target="_blank" href="https://investors.pepsico.com/docs/default-source/investors/q4-2024/q4-2024-earnings-release_tgzvps60bh39qrbu.pdf" rel="noreferrer noopener">quarter</a> (Q4) dropped 11% due to higher restructuring costs, lower organic volume, and increased strategic initiative expenses.

In the statement, PepsiCo Foods U.S. expressed gratitude for the local workforce and community support over five decades.
It also emphasized its commitment to aiding impacted employees during the transition, including compensation and benefits packages, the report reads. The exact number of employees affected has not been released.
As of June 11, the Rancho Cucamonga facility does not appear in California's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) database, which mandates advance notice for mass layoffs or plant closures.
Local reports suggest some workers were terminated without being offered roles in other departments.
The plant has drawn public attention in the past as the former workplace of Richard Montañez, who claimed to have invented Flamin' Hot Cheetos. However, both Frito-Lay and PepsiCo have publicly challenged that narrative.
Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, operates more than 30 manufacturing plants across the U.S., many of which are equipped with advanced processing systems.

Ancora Highlights That A Majority Of Unaffiliated Shareholders Voted Against The Reelection Of Chairman George Mayes, Jr., Director Javier Polit And Director Laurie Tucker; Urges Value-Maximizing Sale

SailPoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SAIL#NASDAQ">SAIL</a>) reported better-than-expected first-quarter adjusted EPS results and <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/sail/news">raised its FY26 guidance above estimates on Wednesday.</a>
The company reported quarterly revenue growth of 23% year-on-year to $230.47 million, compared to analyst consensus estimates of $235.19 million. The quarterly subscription revenue was $215.32 million, up by 27%. The company reported an adjusted EPS of 1 cent, surpassing the consensus analyst estimate of a 1-cent loss.
For the second-quarter of fiscal year 2026, SailPoint expects an ARR of $963 million-$967 million, representing 26% growth. The company expects quarterly revenue of $242 million-$244 million, representing 22%-23% growth versus the $231.96 million consensus estimate. The company expects an adjusted EPS of 4 to 5 cents, which compares favorably to the consensus analyst estimate of a 1-cent loss per share.

For fiscal 2026, SailPoint expects an ARR of $1.095 billion- $1.105 billion (prior $1.075 billion-$1.085 billion), representing 25%-26% growth. It expects revenueof $1.034 billion-$1.044 billion (prior $1.025 billion-$1.035 billion), representing 20-21% growth versus the $854.21 million analyst estimate. The company now projects an adjusted EPS of 16-20 cents, raising its forecast from 14-18 cents and beating the consensus estimate of a 10-cent loss.
SailPoint shares jumped 14.7% to close at $22.53 on Wednesday.

SailPoint Analysts Increase Their Forecasts After Better-Than-Expected Q1 Earnings

Trident Digital Tech shares are trading higher after the company announced an initiative to raise up to $500 million to establish a corporate XRP treasury.

Trident Digital Tech Holdings Ltd (("Trident" or the "Company, NASDAQ:<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TDTH#NASDAQ">TDTH</a>), a leading catalyst for digital transformation in technology optimization services and Web 3.0 activation based in Singapore, today announced an initiative to raise up to $500 million to establish one of the world's first large-scale corporate XRP Treasuries and appoints Chaince Securities LLC as the strategic advisor. This strategic move positions Trident at the forefront of integrating decentralized financial assets into treasury and capital management practices, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of blockchain-native financial infrastructure.
The initiative will focus on the acquisition of XRP tokens as long-term strategic reserves, the deployment of staking mechanisms to generate yield, and deep engagement within the Ripple ecosystem. Trident will collaborate with select infrastructure and application projects, further strengthening its commitment to the advancement of decentralized finance.
To support this initiative, Trident will raise capital through a mix of equity issuance, strategic placements, and structured financing instruments. Trident Digital Tech Launches $500M Initiative To Establish Corporate XRP Treasuries

Producer prices snapped back in May after an April decline, but the rebound fell short of sparking inflation concerns, suggesting tariffs and supply frictions have yet to bleed <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/econ-s">broadly into the economy.</a>
The Producer Price Index rose 2.6% on a year-over-year basis, up from April's upwardly revised 2.5%, according to Thursday's report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. 
On a monthly basis, the PPI advanced 0.1%, reversing April's upwardly revised 0.2% decline, and below the 0.2% expected. 
Core PPI, which strips out food and energy prices and is a key indicator of underlying inflation pressures, eased to 3% annually from April's 3.2%. This marks the lowest level since August 2024. On a monthly basis, core PPI inched 0.1%, rebounding from a 0.2% decline in the prior month, below than expected 0.3%. 
Thursday's producer data arrived one day after a softer-than-expected consumer inflation reading. The Consumer Price Index climbed 2.4% year-over-year in May, up slightly from April's 2.3%, but below the anticipated 2.5% increase.

In a separate release Thursday, the Department of Labor reported that initial jobless claims rose to 248,000 for the week ending June 7, above forecasts for 240,000. Continuing claims surged to 1.956 million, the highest level since November 2021 and above consensus projections of 1.91 million.
The increase in unemployment filings is further evidence of a softening labor market, potentially giving the Federal Reserve additional room to resume the pace of interest rate cuts.
Fed futures currently price in a near-certainty of a first rate cut by October. 
Following the PPI and jobless claims data, traders are assigned roughly 40 basis points of total easing by year-end, implying at least one full 25-basis-point cut and a high probability of a second in December.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Market Reactions: Treasury Yields Fall, Dollar Hits 2-Year Lows</h3>
Both the U.S. dollar and Treasury yields dropped sharply following the cooler inflation readings and signs of labor market weakening.
A trade-weighted measure of the dollar, broadly tracked by the Invesco DB USD Index Bullish Fund ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UUP#NYSE">UUP</a>), slid to 97.70—its lowest level since March 2022.
Bond markets reacted with a broad rally. The yield on the 10-year Treasury fell 7 basis points to 4.35%, while the 30-year yield also declined 7 basis points to 4.85%. The more rate-sensitive 2-year yield dropped to 3.87%, approaching its lowest point since early May, as traders ramped up bets on Federal Reserve rate cuts.
The iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TLT#NASDAQ">TLT</a>) was 1.1% higher in the premarket trading. 
Meanwhile, U.S. equity futures pared overnight losses, supported by growing expectations for looser monetary policy and more favorable conditions for risk assets.
