Shares of Quanex Building Products Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NX#NYSE">NX</a>) rose sharply during Friday's session after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NX">financial results</a>.
Quanex Building reported quarterly earnings of 60 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 47 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $452.50 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $439.30 million.
Quanex Building Products shares jumped 23.4% to $21.10 on Friday.

Circle (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/">USDC</a>) made a powerful entrance onto the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, with shares of the stablecoin issuer (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRCL#NYSE">CRCL</a>) opening at $69, more than double <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/offerings/25/06/45785682/chamath-palihapitiya-says-circle-ipo-valued-at-7-billion-means-its-a-genius-buy-for-coinbase-heres-why">its $31 IPO price</a>.
The company raised approximately $1.1 billion through the sale of 34 million shares, securing a valuation of $6.9 billion and marking a major milestone after a previously unsuccessful public listing attempt via SPAC in 2021.
The timing of Circle's debut comes amid broader market uncertainty.
