DA Davidson analyst Schreiner remarked in the analyst notes that Box reported a good quarter, beating revenue by $1.8 million, above its average beat of $1.3 million over the last four quarters, due to elevated customer interest in Enterprise Advanced despite first-quarter being a seasonally lighter quarter.
The analyst said pricing improvements with Enterprise Advanced customers are in line with initial targets for an increase of 20%-40% so far. Management noted seeing no material impact yet from macro uncertainty but accounted for the potentially tighter IT spending environment in its outlook, he added.
Schreiner said that Box&#8217;s position as the trusted platform for unstructured data, combined with its interoperability and partnerships with leading model providers, is helping customers benefit from all the rapid innovation in the space.
Recent investments in growing the partner-led motion are starting to show early signs of success, driving large deals in the quarter, as per the analyst. He also noted that Enterprise Plus adoption remains a significant opportunity for Box, with ~39% of revenue still from non-Enterprise Plus customers.
Fiscal 2026 revenue guidance was raised by ~$10 million to $1.17 billion at the midpoint, above consensus expectations, but it included forex tailwind and implied 6% Y/Y growth in CC, essentially in line with its previous guide, Schreiner wrote.

Raymond James Peterson rerated Box after the first-quarter results, which showed a healthy ramp of the enterprise&#8217;s advanced plan, as evidenced by the impressive acceleration in billings/RPO.

The stocks got a boost from President Donald Trump&#8216;s <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/05/45603240/trump-agrees-to-extend-50-tariffs-on-europe-until-july-9-it-was-my-privilege-to-do-so">extension of the 50% tariffs</a> on Sunday till July 9th, which he had initially announced on Friday.
Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.47% and the two-year bond was at 3.96%. Insights From Analysts:
Jurrien Timmer, the director of global macro at Fidelity Investments, explained in his note that the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/05/45637914/jurrien-timmer-says-cyclical-bull-market-likely-over-in-feb-2025-expects-rangebound-scenario-modest-bear-market-is-now-underway">market was rangebound</a> and lower and upper boundaries for the market have been set. 
He highlighted that stocks were down 20% and they have recovered since, "That suggests that while the lower boundary for this market correction may have been established, so has the upper boundary."
"All this puts me firmly in the trading range camp in terms of what the next 6-12 months will bring. I suspect that this range might be defined by the April low of 4835 as the lower boundary, and the recent highs of 6000 as the upper boundary," he explained.
If Timmer&#8217;s range-bound market forecast holds, the cyclical bull market that began in October 2022 likely concluded in February 2025, after 30 months.
He added that "a new modest bear market is now underway," saying, "Bear markets consist of both a price and time element, and if this one lasts 6-12 months it would meet both conditions."

The yields on super-long Japanese government bonds (JGBs) fell sharply on Tuesday after Reuters reported that the country&#8217;s finance ministry might issue fewer of these bonds.
He explained that this &#8220;helped to bring down the US 10-year Treasury yield from 4.51% on Friday to 4.46% (On Tuesday).&#8221;

Additionally, the company received a NYSE late filing notice amid an investigation into financial irregularities for its subsidiary.</li>

In its outlook, the company said it is now factoring in potential risks related to the uncertain economic environment for the remainder of FY26.</li>
<li>SCWorx Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WORX#NASDAQ">WORX</a>) fell 12.7% to $0.5928 in today's pre-market trading after jumping 69% on Tuesday.</li>
<li>Galaxy Digital (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GLXY#NASDAQ">GLXY</a>) shares fell 8.5% to $19.90 in pre-market trading after the company announced a public offering of 29 million shares of common stock.</li>
<li>GDS Holdings Limited  (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GDS#NASDAQ">GDS</a>) fell 6.3% to $25.42 in pre-market trading after announcing the pricing of public offering of ADSs.</li>

Why Box Shares Are Trading Higher By 12%; Here Are 20 Stocks Moving Premarket

With U.S. stock futures trading lower this morning on Wednesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

<li>Wall Street expects DICK&#8217;S Sporting Goods Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DKS#NYSE">DKS</a>) to report quarterly earnings at $4.34 per share on revenue of $3.59 billion before the opening bell, according to data from <a href="https://pro.benzinga.com/dashboard">Benzinga Pro</a>. Dick&#8217;s Sporting shares fell 0.5% to $173.29 in after-hours trading.</li>
<li>Analysts are expecting Abercrombie &amp; Fitch Co. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ANF#NYSE">ANF</a>) to post quarterly earnings at $1.40 per share on revenue of $1.08 billion. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Abercrombie &amp; Fitch shares rose 0.1% to $77.17 in after-hours trading.</li>
<li>Box Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BOX#NYSE">BOX</a>) posted better-than-expected first-quarter results and raised its FY2026 guidance after Tuesday&#8217;s closing bell. The company reported quarterly earnings of 30 cents per share, which beat the Street estimate of 26 cents. Quarterly revenue came in at $276 million, which beat the consensus estimate of $274.8 million and is an increase over revenue of $264.66 million from the same period last year. Box shares jumped 11.4% to $35.02 in the after-hours trading session.</li>
