The initiative targets NatWest&#8217;s 20 million customers, promising smarter, more responsive services driven by enhanced data capabilities and automation. Employees will also benefit from access to modern AI tools designed to simplify internal processes and improve customer interactions.
Paul Thwaite, CEO of NatWest, said the collaboration supports the bank&#8217;s ambition to evolve into a more agile and data-led organization. Thwaite noted that this effort will help the bank deliver tailored solutions more efficiently, with customer expectations rapidly shifting.

Gorilla Technology Targets $1.3 Billion In New Contracts By Mid-2026

Capgemini SE (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CGEMY#OTC">CGEMY</a>) announced Monday that it will acquire WNS Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WNS#NYSE">WNS</a>) in a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/07/g46267656/capgemini-to-acquire-wns-to-create-a-global-leader-in-agentic-ai-powered-intelligent-operations" rel="noreferrer noopener">$3.3 billion all-cash deal</a> to create a global leader in Agentic AI-powered Intelligent Operations.
The transaction, which offers $76.50 per WNS share, reflects a 17% premium over WNS&#8217; most recent closing price and has received unanimous approval from both companies&#8217; boards. Capgemini expects the deal to close by year-end, pending shareholder and court approvals.
The acquisition gives Capgemini access to WNS&#8217;s high-margin digital business process services and strengthens its position in the U.S. market. The combination is designed to capitalize on a growing enterprise shift toward AI-driven operational models.

He described the merger as a step toward building a new benchmark for Intelligent Operations that leverages automation, data, and domain expertise to deliver superior results at scale.
Keshav R. Murugesh, CEO of WNS, echoed the enthusiasm, calling the deal a strategic leap toward embedding AI at the core of business models. He noted that the combined portfolio would expand Capgemini&#8217;s footprint across industries and enhance its ability to support organizations as they shift from automation to autonomy in operational strategy.
WNS <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/04/b44973624/wns-announces-fiscal-2025-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-earnings-provides-guidance-for-fiscal-2026" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported</a> $1.27 billion in revenue for fiscal 2025 and holds long-term contracts with companies like United Airlines and Aviva.
Capgemini expects the deal to increase normalized EPS by 4% in 2026 and 7% by 2027, post-synergies. Estimated annual revenue synergies range between 100 million euros (~$108 million) and 140 million euros (~$151.2 million), with cost savings projected up to 70 million euros (~$75.6 million).
Capgemini is funding the transaction with a 4 billion euros bridge loan, partially backed by internal cash and future debt issuance. The company plans to integrate WNS into its Global Business Services unit, citing a strong cultural fit and complementary capabilities across AI, platforms, and consulting.

Palantir, Accenture Partner To Infuse AI Into Federal Agency Workflows

Following a series of sobering near-miss incidents in U.S. airports, most recently when a Southwest Airlines (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LUV#NYSE">LUV</a>) plane came close to departing from a taxiway in Orlando, air carriers are focusing now on what could be the most priceless upgrade since in-flight Wi-Fi: cockpit alerts that scream at pilots before they undertake something disastrous.

At the forefront of this air safety upgrade is Honeywell (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HON#NASDAQ">HON</a>), which has created a Runway Awareness and Advisory System (RAAS) that&#8217;s now in use across almost all of Southwest&#8217;s 800-strong Boeing 737 fleet, according to WSJ. And although this upgrade is, first and foremost, about ensuring passengers and crew are safe, it also represents a possible investment opportunity few are discussing: a boost in demand for avionics and safety technology, and the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/etfs">ETFs that contain them</a>.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Wake-Up Call In The Cockpit</h2>
Honeywell&#8217;s system provides real-time voice and text alerts when pilots make hazardous maneuvers, such as turning onto an incorrect runway, landing too rapidly, or trying to take off from a taxiway. 
It&#8217;s not only Southwest becoming serious about safety. Other airlines such as Alaska Airlines (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ALK#NYSE">ALK</a>) are bringing the system on board as well, with Airbus and Boeing (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BA#NYSE">BA</a>) allegedly working on their own in-house alert systems. With the FAA considering new proposals to mandate safety alerts on new planes, and potentially retrofits in the future, this might be only the start.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The ETF Angle: Follow The Beep</h2>
A number of large ETFs already provide exposure to aviation safety vendors such as Honeywell, and if the industry experiences an upgrade supercycle, these funds could be winners:
iShares U.S. Aerospace &amp; Defense ETF (BATS:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ITA#BATS">ITA</a>): Top holding is Honeywell, followed by Boeing and Raytheon (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RTX#NYSE">RTX</a>). Traces defense and aerospace production companies, including safety systems and avionics.
Up 29% YTD, ITA may experience additional tailwinds if cockpit safety standards become an international standard.
SPDR S&amp;P Aerospace &amp; Defense ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/XAR#NYSE">XAR</a>): Equal-weighted, providing more widespread exposure to mid-cap stocks that might include specialty avionics providers.
Comprises participants on next-gen safety software, hardware, and even autonomous flight system development.
Global X Future Analytics Tech ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AIQ#NASDAQ">AIQ</a>): Not aerospace-focused, but exposed to companies embedding AI in safety and risk-reduction systems. 
As cockpit notifications become more sophisticated with AI-based pattern recognition, funds such as AIQ might soon be cleared for takeoff.

Curiosity Inc. Wix.com Ltd. The deal is part of Wix's broader push to strengthen its capabilities in artificial intelligence and expand its leadership in immersive web and content experiences.
Founded in 2019, Hour One developed a cloud-based platform that combines generative AI and 3D rendering to enable scalable, high-quality video production and interactive digital content. Wix said the acquisition enhances its control over core technologies while reducing dependence on external providers.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"This move reinforces Wix's position as a leader in the new era of generative AI," said Ronny Elkayam, chief operating officer at Wix. He added that the deal brings in a highly skilled AI team that will help accelerate innovation across Wix's platform.

AMD Expands Red Hat Partnership To Power Scalable AI And Hybrid Cloud

TaskUs Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TASK#NASDAQ">TASK</a>) surged on Friday after announcing strong first-quarter results and a $16.50-per-share all-cash buyout by Blackstone Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BX#NYSE">BX</a>) and its co-founders.
The company has entered into an agreement to be <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/b45316012/taskus-inc-to-be-taken-private-by-co-founders-and-blackstone" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">acquired and taken private</a> in an all-cash deal led by an affiliate of Blackstone, alongside TaskUs co-founders Bryce Maddock and Jaspar Weir.
The transaction values each share at $16.50, reflecting a 26% premium over TaskUs&#8217; 30-day volume-weighted average price. The buyout group plans to acquire all outstanding Class A shares it does not currently own, effectively taking TaskUs off public exchanges.
This strategic move, unanimously approved by the TaskUs board following recommendations from its special committee of independent directors, is designed to strengthen the company&#8217;s long-term strategy.
CEO Bryce Maddock emphasized that the acquisition will help TaskUs navigate rapid shifts driven by artificial intelligence and allow for long-term investments to support both the company and its clients. Jaspar Weir will continue serving as president after the deal closes, ensuring leadership continuity during the company&#8217;s next phase of growth.
Maddock noted, &#8220;This strategic transaction will deliver immediate value to stockholders, while enabling TaskUs to make long-term investments to better support both our own business and our clients as we scale and adapt in the AI age.&#8221;
Amit Dixit, head of Asia Private Equity at Blackstone, underscored the firm&#8217;s confidence in TaskUs&#8217; ability to thrive in the fast-changing AI landscape, saying the transaction will provide the company with greater flexibility and resources to strengthen its value proposition.
The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
In addition to the buyout news, TaskUs reported strong <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/b45316168/taskus-announces-fiscal-first-quarter-2025-results" rel="noreferrer noopener">first-quarter 2025</a> earnings. Revenue reached $277.8 million, up 22.1% year-over-year and surpassing the $271.06 million estimate by $6.7 million.
The company reported net income of $21.1 million (7.6% margin), adjusted net income of $35.9 million (12.9% margin), and diluted EPS of 23 cents. Notably, adjusted EPS came in at 38 cents, beating the 32 cents estimate.
Adjusted EBITDA reached $59.3 million, exceeding guidance by 130 basis points. TaskUs also generated $36.3 million in operating cash flow, $21.8 million in free cash flow, and achieved a 36.8% adjusted EBITDA-to-free cash flow conversion.
Price Action: TASK shares are trading higher by 14.53% at $16.47, and BX is up 0.97% at $141.07 on Friday&#8217;s last check.

And that towering gap above the 200-day SMA ($59.29)? That's a long-term green flag.
But it's not all smooth sailing. The 50-day SMA sits slightly above the current price at $92.64, which signals a technical bearish in that timeframe. Meanwhile, the MACD (moving average convergence/divergence) indicator sits at negative 0.35 — another mild caution sign — and the RSI (relative strength index) at 55.14 suggests we're neither overbought nor oversold. 
Translation: momentum's on Palantir's side, but it's not a free pass to chase.

Palantir Goes Bullish After NATO's AI Buy: Is This The Future Of War, Wall Street?

Renowned macroeconomic expert Nouriel Roubini, also referred to as &#8216;Dr. Doom&#8217; or &#8216;permabear,&#8217; a moniker he earned by correctly predicting the 2008 financial crisis, has a bullish outlook on the U.S. and global economy, defying several Wall Street <a href="https://benzinga.com/news/management/25/04/44717888/jpmorgan-jamie-dimon-warns-recession-now-likely-outcome">forecasts in recent weeks</a>.
What Happened: Speaking with Simon Nixon, the publisher of the Wealth of Nations newsletter at the 10th Delphi Economic Forum in Greece this week, Roubini had a rather optimistic take on the state of the economy, owing to the recent advances in AI, as <a href="https://greekreporter.com/2025/04/10/nouriel-roubini-predicts-global-growth-surge/#">reported</a> by Geek Reporter.
He said &#8220;Artificial intelligence is set to transform a dozen major sectors, propelling economic growth,&#8221; before adding that by the end of this decade &#8220;U.S. growth could hit 4 percent. By the end of the next decade, we might see 6 percent.&#8221;

Saying that he&#8217;s gone from &#8220;Dr. Doom to Dr. Boom,&#8221; Roubini insists that technology will offset <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/11/03/910566/econ-101-protectionism-for-dummies">protectionist policies</a>, and even amid the trade war, the U.S. economy will continue to expand, with that &#8220;growth spilling over to the rest of the world,&#8221; as for the first time in history, &#8220;we're entering a phase of exponential innovation.&#8221;
Roubini says that large companies will not wait for political clarity and that they aren&#8217;t concerned about tariffs. Taking a shot at Donald Trump, he says it won&#8217;t matter even if &#8220;Mickey Mouse is president—the economy will keep growing,&#8221; thanks to the momentum that innovation brings. 
Speaking about the <a href="https://benzinga.com/news/global/25/04/44706557/kevin-oleary-calls-eu-tariff-proposal-a-huge-opportunity-for-trump-to-find-an-off-ramp-amid-global-market-volatility">impact of tariffs on Europe</a>, Roubini believes that while the 10% tariff isn&#8217;t ideal, it won&#8217;t &#8220;devastate Europe&#8217;s economy.&#8221; He further predicts that Trump&#8217;s negotiations in this regard would likely involve demands for more defense spending, preferably through U.S. defense contractors, and commitments to purchase more American LNG. 
He, however, believes that negotiations with China will be a lot more fraught since Chinese Premier Xi Jinping &#8220;doesn&#8217;t face elections&#8221; and is thus less likely to blink, preferring to inject a massive fiscal stimulus package, devalue the Yuan, or boost domestic consumption instead.
While he is no fan of Trump&#8217;s trade policies, calling them &#8220;crazy and unfair,&#8221; Roubini does concede that China &#8220;needs to reform its economic model,&#8221; adding that it&#8217;s not just the U.S. demanding change, but &#8220;rest of the world expects it too.&#8221; 
Why It Matters: Roubini has been increasingly vocal over the past couple of days, and just last week referred to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/04/44620056/dr-doom-nouriel-roubini-trumps-liberation-day-tariff-label-is-orwellian-doublespeak-us-playing-with-fire">Trump&#8217;s tariff announcement</a> on &#8216;Liberation Day&#8217; as "literally Orwellian doublespeak."
He later warned that the <a href="https://benzinga.com/markets/25/04/44677685/dr-doom-roubini-warns-markets-delusional-about-fed-rescue-as-trump-xi-jinping-jerome-powell-locked-in-high-stakes-standoff">markets were delusional</a> about the Fed&#8217;s willingness to step in amid escalating trade tensions, describing the situation as a &#8220;three-way game of chicken&#8221; between Trump, Jerome Powell, and Xi Jinping, with Trump being mostly likely to blink first.
Price Action: It has been 9 days since Liberation Day, and the S&amp;P 500 (INDEXSP: .INX) is down 7%, the Nasdaq (INDEXNASDAQ: .IXIC) by 6.8%, and the Global X Artificial Intelligence &amp; Technology ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AIQ#NASDAQ">AIQ</a>) that invests predominantly in AI stocks is down 8.5%, as markets expect a tariff-driven recession.

Dr. Doom Transforms To Dr. Boom, Nouriel Roubini Says Mickey Mouse Could Be US President And 'Economy Will Keep Growing'

Arelis Agosto, director of Product Research and Strategy at Global X ETFs, sat down with Benzinga&#8217;s Dan Leach at Future Proof CityWide Miami in March to discuss the most recent <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/etfs">trends in exchange-traded funds</a>.
Global X ETFs is a New York-based provider of ETFs with billions in managed assets.
Agosto noted that the most prevalent themes in ETFs currently center around artificial intelligence and its infrastructure, reflected by the Global X Artificial Intelligence &amp; Technology ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AIQ#NASDAQ">AIQ</a>) and Global X Data Center &amp; Digital Infrastructure ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DTCR#NASDAQ">DTCR</a>).
&#8220;When we think about the broader demand and supply for data centers in the U.S., when we look at occupancy rates, they&#8217;re really high right now. What we&#8217;re seeing is that supply needs to catch up,&#8221; Agosto said. &#8220;This broader artificial intelligence landscape is not going away, and even conversations as to how newer technologies could take less space or demand from data centers isn&#8217;t something we&#8217;re super concerned about.&#8221;
Investors are reportedly also interested in investing in broader infrastructure plays given the perceived bipartisan support for infrastructure funding in the U.S. The Global X US Infrastructure Development ETF (BATS:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PAVE#BATS">PAVE</a>) tracks domestic infrastructure companies.
Agosto also noted the most important trends to look at several years into the future for Global X&#8217;s ETFs.
&#8220;When we think about thematic at Global X, we are targeting structural changes in the world as we know it,&#8221; Agosto said. When we think about artificial intelligence, it&#8217;s a little more mature because we are already seeing it very tangibly. We might have themes that are a little bit early on the curve of adoption, such as genomics or humanoids, which are a little bit earlier in those phases. We believe that the trends we already see materialize today will feed into those in earlier stages of maturity.&#8221;

Artificial Intelligence, Data Centers The Top ETF Themes In 2025 Says Global X ETFs

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>) is moving ahead with its most ambitious health initiative to date, aiming to elevate its Health app with AI capabilities that mimic real doctors. 
Bloomberg&#8217;s&nbsp;Mark Gurman,&nbsp;in his&nbsp;<a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2025-03-30/apple-readies-biggest-push-into-health-yet-with-revamped-app-ai-doctor-service-m8vl97k2?srnd=undefined&amp;sref=TBDibEcD">latest&nbsp;</a>weekly &#8220;Power On&#8221;, has said that the tech giant is also gearing up to launch an M5-powered iPad Pro later this year, and has announced key organizational changes and its next developers conference.
As part of its moon-shot health goals, Apple has been working on Project Mulberry, a major upgrade to its Health app, featuring an AI-driven coach that can deliver customized health insights using user data. This app overhaul will be accompanied by a virtual health guide trained on inputs from internal and external medical professionals, including specialists in sleep, nutrition, and cardiology. The service, potentially branded as "Health+," is expected to debut with iOS 19.4 next year.
The app will integrate video explainers from physicians, track nutrition in detail, and even use iPhone cameras to assess users' exercise form. Apple is also constructing a facility near Oakland, California, where doctors will film educational content for the platform.

On the hardware front, Apple is testing four new versions of the iPad Pro featuring the M5 chip. These models, now in advanced testing, are expected to launch in the second half of 2025. The company is also working on an M6 version with its own modem chips, which could be ready by 2027. 
Meanwhile, M5 upgrades are coming to MacBook Pro and MacBook Air as well, likely following the same annual release cadence as their M4 predecessors.
Apple quietly announced its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 for June 9–13. The mostly virtual event will feature in-person segments for the keynote and State of the Union. This year's announcement carried a more restrained tone, contrasting with previous years' bold messaging.
The tech giant continues to diversify its business while rivals such as Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GOOGL#NASDAQ">GOOGL</a>) and Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AMZN#NASDAQ">AMZN</a>) make parallel moves in AI and health. For investors tracking broader trends, the Global X Artificial Intelligence &amp; Technology ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AIQ#NASDAQ">AIQ</a>) and iShares U.S. Technology ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IYW#NYSE">IYW</a>) remain key barometers of sector momentum.
