The CNN Money Fear and Greed index showed some improvement in the overall market sentiment, while the index was in the &#8220;Extreme Greed&#8221; zone on Thursday.



U.S. stocks settled higher on Thursday, with the S&amp;P 500 hitting record highs following the release of jobs data



Investor sentiment was boosted by June&#8217;s nonfarm payrolls report, which showed the U.S. economy added 147,000 jobs, well above the 110,000 forecast. The data helped ease concerns stoked by a weak private payroll report just a day earlier. The unemployment rate dipped to 4.1% from 4.2%, also beating forecasts for a rise to 4.3%. It marks the lowest unemployment rate since January 2025.



Tech stocks led the charge, with the so-called Magnificent Seven reaching a combined market cap of $18.1 trillion. Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NVDA#NASDAQ">NVDA</a>) solidified its lead as the world&#8217;s most valuable company, surpassing a $3.9 trillion valuation, ahead of Microsoft Corp. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSFT#NYSE">MSFT</a>) at $3.7 trillion.



Tripadvisor, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TRIP#NASDAQ">TRIP</a>) shares jumped around 17% on Thursday after activist investor Starboard Value acquired a 9% stake in the company.



All sectors on the S&amp;P 500 closed on a positive note, with financial, information technology and industrials stocks recording the biggest gains on Thursday.



The Dow Jones closed higher by over 344 points to 44,828.53 on Thursday. The S&amp;P 500 rose 0.83% to 6,279.35, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.02% to 20,601.10 during Thursday's session.



What is CNN Business Fear &amp; Greed Index?



At a current reading of 78.5, the index remained in the &#8220;Extreme Greed&#8221; zone on Thursday, versus a prior reading of 75.



The Fear &amp; Greed Index is a measure of the current market sentiment. It is based on the premise that higher fear exerts pressure on stock prices, while higher greed has the opposite effect. The index is calculated based on seven equal-weighted indicators. The index ranges from 0 to 100, where 0 represents maximum fear and 100 signals maximum greediness.

Leading cryptocurrencies rose on Sunday while stock futures fell as the Trump administration extends tariff deadline.

What Happened: Bitcoin surged to an intraday high of $109,731.63, with trading volume jumping by nearly 25% in the last 24 hours.



Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, reached a high of $2,600 but then fell back to around $2,500.



The rally wiped out $134 million in bearish short positions in the last 24 hours. More than $300 million in downside bets risked liquidation if Bitcoin made a new high.



Bitcoin&#8217;s open interest rose 2.41% in the last 24 hours to $74 billion, while Ethereum recorded a 3.90% jump in funds locked in unsettled derivatives contracts.&nbsp;



The "Greed" sentiment strengthened from 66 to 73 in the last 24 hours, according to the Crypto Fear &amp; Greed Index.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $3.36 trillion, surging 3.49% in the last 24 hours.



Stock futures inched lower overnight Sunday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures fell 139 points, or 0.30%, as of 9:40 p.m. EDT.&nbsp; Futures tied to the S&amp;P 500 slid 0.43%, while Nasdaq 100 Futures lost 0.53%.



Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told reporters that Trump's planned tariffs will take effect on August 1, further extending the previously set July 9 deadline, Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-07-06/lutnick-says-trump-s-tariffs-will-take-effect-on-august-1?srnd=homepage-americas">reported</a>.



Stocks have hit new highs lately, with the Nasdaq Composite and the S&amp;P 500 surging 5.48% and 4.65% over the past month.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin Gain As Trump Tariffs Deadline Delayed: 'Massive' Altcoin Season In The Works, Says This Analyst

U.S. Stock futures slipped on Sunday evening, following the Fourth of July weekend, after President Donald Trump&#8217;s confirmation regarding the reciprocal tariffs that are set to go into effect on August 1, instead of July 9. 



The&nbsp;S&amp;P 500 Futures&nbsp;trade at 6,297.50, down 0.43%, followed by&nbsp;Nasdaq Futures&nbsp;at 22,956.50, down 0.46%, and finally&nbsp;Dow Jones Futures&nbsp;down 0.33%, trading at 44,944.00, at the time of writing this.



This comes amid President Donald Trump saying that he would be sending out letters to America&#8217;s trading partners, announcing that tariffs would be back to April 2 levels, if there was no progress being made on signing a trade deal with the United States by then, according <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/07/06/stock-market-today-live-updates.html">to</a> a report by CNBC.

Speaking alongside Trump, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that the tariffs will go into effect on August 1, adding that &#8220;the president is setting the rates, and the deals, right now,&#8221; to which Trump nodded in approval.



Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the same during his appearance on CNN&#8217;s &#8220;State of the Union&#8221; earlier in the day, saying that tariffs will &#8220;boomerang&#8221; back to &#8220;Liberation Day&#8221; levels, &#8220;if things don&#8217;t move along.&#8221;



Japan&#8217;s Nikkei 225 benchmark is down 204 points or 0.51%, trading at 39,608, with engineering, electronics and export-oriented stocks leading the decline.



The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) is up 0.10%, trading at 97.098 against a basket of currencies, recovering from its lowest levels in over three years last week, hit by <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/market-summary/25/07/46190058/asia-markets-mixed-europe-slips-dollar-weakens-further-as-tariff-deadline-looms-global-markets-today-while-us-slept">growing fiscal concerns</a>, persistent trade uncertainties and expectations of faster rate cuts by the Federal Reserve. 



While there are no noteworthy data releases or economic events on Monday, investors will be closely watching Barnes &amp; Noble Education Inc.&#8217;s (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BNED#NYSE">BNED</a>) third quarter results later in the day.

Dow Futures Slip Over 100 Points Amid Trump's August Deadline On Tariffs

Shares of Elon Musk-led EV giant Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) declined in overnight trading amid the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46216023/after-trump-warns-elon-musk-to-close-up-shop-china-rallies-behind-worlds-richest-man-theres-no-need-to-keep-putting-up-with-it">billionaire's feud</a> with President Donald Trump, which began over the latter's &#8220;Big, Beautiful Bill.&#8221;



What Happened: Tesla shares fell more than 5% in overnight trading, currently trading for around $297.70, as per data from Robinhood.



Why It Matters: The news comes in as Musk announced <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/06/46186733/elon-musk-staging-a-political-comeback-tesla-ceo-sparks-america-party-buzz-as-he-slams-trumps-insane-spending-bill">the launch of a new political party</a> following the Senate's approval of the Big Beautiful Bill. The new tax bill has axed the $7500 EV credit as well as made ZEV or <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/tech/25/07/46258669/tesla-made-2-76-billion-from-zev-credits-in-2024-in-us-but-trumps-tax-bill-just-killed-this-revenue-stream">Zero Emission vehicle credits</a>, a major revenue stream for Tesla, effectively redundant. 



The billionaire has been <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46266957/trump-calls-america-party-a-train-wreck-blasts-elon-musk-for-going-completely-off-the-rails-president-says-system-not-designed-for-a-third-player">slammed by Trump</a>, who in a post on Truth Social, called the move "a train wreck" and said that there is no need for a third political party in the U.S.



The move has also invited criticism from experts, with Wedbush Securities analyst and Tesla bull Dan Ives calling it a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/politics/25/07/46267326/elon-musks-america-party-is-a-move-in-the-opposite-direction-says-dan-ives-analyst-gary-black-says-difficult-to-predict-impact-on-tesla-brand-short-term">move in the opposite direction</a> for the EV giant.

Tesla Shares Fall Over 5% In Overnight Trading As Elon Musk Jumps Back Into Politics

Tesla (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) Chief Executive Elon Musk's controversial stint at President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency ended in May, but debate persists over what he gained or lost, and how it affected his businesses.



Elon Musk's father, Errol Musk, recently told <a href="https://x.com/SkyNews/status/1927840326456168919?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1927840326456168919%7Ctwgr%5E8e719785e1bf5a1f15ae066df5103fbf614ab132%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ffuturism.com%2Ferrol-musk-elon-politics">Sky News</a> that he warned his son against taking part in politics, given both his nature and the realities of political life.

Errol, who often publicly criticizes his billionaire son, said that politics has no boundaries and called it the "deepest pool of human endeavor."



"As I explained to him as well, that politics is a swimming pool that hasn&#8217;t got a bottom, it hasn&#8217;t got sides. No matter which way you go, you are never gonna get to the edge," Errol added.



The two Musks have a strained relationship. In 2017, during an <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/elon-musk-the-architect-of-tomorrow-120850/">interview</a> with Rolling Stone, Elon called his father a &#8216;terrible human being.&#8217;



"My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil. He will plan evil," he said at the time.&nbsp;

Earlier this year, Errol <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/style/elon-musk-father-errol-comments.html#:~:text=On%20a%20recent%20episode%20of,five%20sons%20all%20brought%20up.">criticized</a> Elon's parenting during the "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gagYfbwVXFU">Wide Awake</a>" podcast, saying he "hasn't been a good dad."



"He hasn't got the gift of the gab and apart from that, he likes the idea that everyone who works for him must be an A student," Errol said. "And of course, when you work in government you can&#8217;t have that."



Tesla shares are down 14% so far this year as the company's EV deliveries continue to plunge globally. In May, Tesla sales <a href="https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/teslas-german-car-sales-continue-decline-may-2025-06-04/">fell</a> for the fifth consecutive month in Britain, Germany, and Italy.



Wells Fargo recently <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/10/wells-fargo-says-tesla-shares-to-drop-60percent-as-sales-slump-.html?taid=68484d55c5f45e0001b957d3&amp;utm_campaign=trueanthem&amp;utm_content=main&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter">said</a> in a note that Tesla shares could drop 60% amid weak deliveries and rising competition. Analyst Colin Langan said Tesla's global deliveries in May fell 23% year over year and added that the company's potential tailwinds, such as autonomous driving, are not likely to offset its delivery declines.



"Most investor attention is directed at the June 12th Austin Robotaxi deployment. We doubt the likely limited debut will be enough to overshadow the poor fundamentals," Langan said. He has a $120 price target for the stock.

US Foods Holding Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/USFD#NYSE">USFD</a>): The food service distributor saw increased interest from readers during the shortened holiday week. JPMorgan maintained a Neutral rating on the stock while <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/USFD/analyst-ratings">raising the price target </a>from $82 to $85. US Foods shares trade near all time highs with momentum coming from the earnings report <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/05/45297979/whats-going-on-with-us-foods-stock-on-thursday">back in May.</a> The company missed Street estimates for earnings per share and revenue, while reporting a 4.5% year-over-year sales increase and increased gross profits and total case volume. The company's net income was up 40% year-over-year in the first quarter. After a strong quarterly report and a June defense agency contract award win, the company could be one to watch.

Franco-Nevada Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FNV#NYSE">FNV</a>): Interest has been rising in gold and precious metals stocks in recent weeks. This week's Stock Whisper Index sees a precious metals company make it, but one of a different nature. Unlike past stocks that mine the metals that have made the list, Franco-Nevada is a gold-focused royalty and streaming company. The company does not operate mines or conduct exploration, instead owning a portfolio of royalties and streams. Franco-Nevada has a history of increasing its dividend and could be viewed as a safer bet in the sector than some of the other companies. UBS maintained a Buy rating and <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/FNV/analyst-ratings">raised the price target</a> from $205 to $210.

Johnson Controls shares recently hit new all time highs with the stock up 35% year-to-date in 2025. Investors could be getting ready for upcoming third-quarter financial results, which are expected in late July. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share and revenue in two straight quarters. The strong recent earnings momentum along with an increased share buyback plan could see shares continue to take out new highs.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NOC#NYSE">NOC</a>): One of the largest defense contractors, Northrop Grumman saw increased interest from readers during the week with tensions in the Middle East<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/06/46045651/northrop-grumman-jumps-5-overnight-as-b-2-bombers-return-to-missouri-after-36-hour-iran-strike-trump-says-job-well-done"> remaining heightened.</a> The company manufactures the B2 bomber and is involved in several other top defense weapons used. Investors are likely anticipating the company's second-quarter financial results later this month with analysts forecasting earnings per share to grow to $6.70 and revenue to decline to $10.11 billion. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in nine of the last 10 quarters and for revenue in seven of the last 10 quarters. Northrop Grumman could be a winner if tension escalates in the Middle East and potentially thanks to increased defense spending by the US and other nations.

Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GILD#NASDAQ">GILD</a>): The biotech best known for its work on HIV and Hepatitis drugs recently<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/fda/25/06/46023093/fda-approves-gileads-game-changing-twice-yearly-shot-to-prevent-hiv-transmission-critics-slam-28k-price-tag"> received FDA approval</a> for Yeztugo, the first and only twice-yearly option in the US for pre-exposure prophylaxis to reduce the risk of HIV in adults. While the company received approval there are questions over how much the drug will be priced at with Gilead working with insurers to increase coverage options. High pricing of the drug could cause pushback against the company, while also helping boost revenue and earnings. Gilead is set to report quarterly financial results in August and could provide an update on the drug. The company has beaten analyst estimates in five straight quarters and beaten analyst revenue estimates in nine of the last 10 quarters.

Trump had sued for $20 billion, claiming CBS deceptively edited the segment. CBS denies wrongdoing. The settlement may help clear regulatory hurdles for Paramount's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/entertainment/24/07/39658163/paramount-board-endorses-merger-with-skydance-media-as-david-ellison-nears-acquisition-of-m">pending $28 billion merger</a> with Skydance Media. The FCC launched a probe into CBS's New York station after Trump took office, and &#8220;60 Minutes&#8221; producer Bill Owens <a href="https://www.npr.org/2025/04/23/nx-s1-5372796/60-minutes-executive-producer-resigns-saying-shows-indepependence-was-compromised">resigned</a> in April, citing editorial interference. The acquisition is described as one of the fastest successful exits in European space-tech and aligns with the EU's long-term vision for sovereign and scalable space infrastructure.</li>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bankruptcy Block</h2>

<li>Canned-food giant Del Monte Foods has <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/del-monte-foods-announces-strategic-action-to-strengthen-financial-position-and-pursue-a-value-maximizing-sale-302496385.html">filed</a> for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, launching a court-supervised sale process in a bid to accelerate its turnaround. The company, known for canned fruits, College Inn broths and Joyba teas, said it secured $912.5 million in financing from existing lenders to continue operations during the proceedings. CEO Greg Longstreet called the move a "strategic step forward" aimed at building a stronger, long-term business. Del Monte, founded nearly 140 years ago, will remain open during the bankruptcy process.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Notes From The Block</h2>



M&amp;A volumes globally continue to decline, according <a href="https://www.pwc.com/gx/en/services/deals/trends.html">to</a> PwC&#8217;s Brian Levy.



&#8220;They dropped by 9% in the first half of 2025 compared with the first half of 2024, while deal values are up 15%. We continue to see transactions in companies with a local focus within national borders, as well as in service companies or others less susceptible to tariffs,&#8221; Levy wrote in a June 24 blog post. 



Strong cash flow and &#8220;healthy prospects&#8221; are key. A May 2025 PwC survey found that 30% of U.S. companies paused or reconsidered deals due to tariff uncertainty, signaling ongoing disruption for dealmakers in the months ahead.



&#8220;We expect dealmakers to feel the continued fallout over the coming months,&#8221; Levy adds.



Separately, the mixed job market — like the one we&#8217;re currently in — provides a clue as to how the second half of 2025 will unfold. <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/economic-data/25/07/46188699/goldman-sachs-now-expects-3-fed-rate-cuts-in-2025-amid-weak-jobs-data-modest-trump-tariff-effects">If rate cuts follow</a>, expect a rebound in M&amp;A activity.



Buyers typically see value in sectors under labor pressure, and sellers feel more urgency <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/economic-data/25/07/46244105/june-jobs-report-nonfarm-payroll-adp-data">if hiring slows</a> or margins compress.



Bain &amp; Co. says it&#8217;s &#8220;already seeing evidence that some companies are not allowing tariffs (and the changed economic world order they represent) to derail M&amp;A activity.&#8221; 



While deal activity dipped in April, deal value rebounded in May, the firm <a href="https://www.bain.com/insights/m-and-a-midyear-report-2025-separating-signal-from-noise/">wrote</a> in its mid-year report. This may partly reflect late-stage deals, as well as the fortitude of executives and the muted impact of U.S. tariff announcements.

Bulls were on parade last week, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average leading the rally higher. It finished up 2.30% on the week, but fell just short of a new all-time high. The S&amp;P 500 and Nasdaq hit new all-time highs, and finished up 1.72% and 1.62%, respectively. We're starting to see greed creep back into the tape, and I'm not ruling out a blowoff top at this point. Still, any dips that follow through should be bought, especially on the crypto side of the market. Stimulus is coming, as the only way out of this fiscal mess is to grow our way out of it. We have an abbreviated report this week due to the holiday. Take some time to rest! It's very important especially in these markets.

<li>The company has been steadily profitable over the past year, although there was a dip in earnings in the most recent quarter. Still, they reported revenue of $103.62 million and earnings of $5.37 million.</li>



<li>This valuation on LIF is sky-high. P/E is at 501.69, Price-to-Sales is at 12.46, and EV to EBITDA is at 427.88.</li>



<li>At a technical level, LIF is coiling within a bull flag formation. This is a very bullish setup that can lead to another leg higher in prices.</li>

<li>Life360's international penetration is accelerating, with MAUs outside the US growing 46% year-over-year in 2024. Regional penetration rates remain well below domestic levels—10% in the UK, 11% in Australia, and just 14% in the US—leaving ample headroom for further expansion.</li>



<li>Other revenue streams, including advertising and partnerships, grew 41% to $36 million in 2024. With a massive and engaged user base, Life360 is well-positioned to capitalize on targeted advertising and strategic partnerships. <li>Revenue is trending in the right direction for TIGR, but there are still earnings problems. The latest report showed revenue of $121.27 million, but no earnings to report.</li>



<li>Valuation in TIGR is decent. P/E is at 21.44, Price-to-Sales is at 3.86, and EV to EBITDA is at 7.46.</li>



<li>From a charting standpoint, TIGR is coiling tightly within a triangle formation. If it clears resistance, look for a big breakout higher.</li>
</ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Market-Moving Catalysts for the Week Ahead</h2>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">What's the Story on Jobs?</h3>



It seems to be a recurring theme over the past several months where the ADP and BLS employment reports show completely different narratives. This happened again last week where the ADP report showed a weakening labor market, but BLS showed a resilient one.



So, what's the real story? All I know is I'm seeing more reports of companies laying off workers and hearing stories about people finding it more difficult to find work. Part of it has to do with artificial intelligence, but part of it is also cost-saving measures from companies.



We've been looking at September for the next rate cut. I would forget about a rate cut in July at this point. Between the new budget bill and rate cuts on the horizon, it looks like this market is about to get pumped to another level.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">A Lull in the Headlines?</h3>



We have FOMC minutes this week, but don't let the absence of other data releases fool you. I'm looking right at the July 9 tariff deadline, which could potentially be a source for the market's next round of volatility.



Some deals have been struck although there appears to be some lingering issues with Japan and the European Union especially. At the end of the day, any exporting nation wants and basically needs to sell to the U.S. market.



And don't even get me started on the delusional idea that tariffs are inflationary. Nobody believes taxes are inflationary, and tariffs are a tax. You can agree or disagree with the idea of tariffs, but never let political biases creep into your portfolio. It's job is to make money, not be right.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sector &amp; Industry Strength</h2>

Overall, the state of the stock market's sectors continues to point to bullish momentum and more upside. All of the right sectors continue to lead, and save for consumer discretionary (XLY), all of the right sectors continue to lag year-to-date.



Eight of the eleven S&amp;P sectors are solidly in positive territory year-to-date. Industrials (XLI) are still on top of the throne, but we saw quite a rebound from the communications (XLC) sector in recent sessions.



Utilities (XLU) and consumer staples (XLP) are right in the middle of the pack, which is another boon for bulls. If either of these sectors, or even healthcare (XLV) starts to climb in the next week or two, we can start preparing for a market pullback. Until then, ride the wave.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Comparing Leaders (Sector ETF: XLI/XLK)&nbsp;</h3>



I want to stack the two most important sectors of the moment this week to see where the money is flowing. Industrials (XLI) have been the leader year-to-date, but technology (XLK) has been the leader since the April 7 bottom.



This is reflected in the ratio chart between XLI and XLK, as it topped out in April and has been trending lower ever since. The big question now is whether we see a wedge formation or a channel, as these two scenarios suggest two very different outcomes.



If this is a channel, I expect XLK to keep outperforming XLI, but if this is a wedge, then we'll see XLK slow down and XLI reassume leadership. For the overall market, XLK leading is more bullish.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Junk Bonds Leading (Sector ETF: HYG/IEI)&nbsp;</h3>



You know what they say – credit leads – and when we see leadership from junk bonds (HYG), it's hardly a bearish signal, especially when it comes to its performance against 3-7 Year Treasuries (IEI).



Note how credit spreads blew out during the correction into the April 7 low. If anything, that was the event of the year, and the likelihood of that happening again in the next 6 months is not very high.



With respect to the longer-term trend, it was a higher-low, but it did take out the low from summer 2024. So, at this point, it's new all-time highs or bust for this ratio. If we're going to be bullish, we don't want to see this ratio turn sharply lower.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">My Take:</h3>



Junk bonds trade like stocks more than bonds, hence their "junk" status. But when it's leading, it suggests a calm sailing environment. Bull markets climb a wall of worry, and the press does a great job at keeping people worried as all the signals point to higher prices ahead.



Junk bonds give us an idea on the state of liquidity. When market conditions worsen, people seek safety in Treasuries and higher-quality names. Obviously, junk bonds do not fall into that category of quality.

Don't be surprised if we finally see a liftoff in the price of Bitcoin in the coming days. It continues to consolidate above the critical $100,000-$105,00 support level that acted as major resistance throughout early 2025. Above this key technical level, bulls are in control of this market.



The duration of this wedge formation lends itself to the idea of a massive move coming. the very least, we're looking for it to go above 130,000-135,000, but I want to see a new all-time high in the coming days first.



It's still in an uptrend, but has spent the past several weeks consolidating near the highs, which as a rule, is bullish price action. There's no need to complicate things here, although I am starting to look at some other coins for even more upside. Stay tuned.

The Insider Report: Is There Anything More Patriotic than New All-Time Highs?

President Donald Trump&#8216;s approval rating among Baby Boomers has seen a significant surge, potentially solidifying his political base as we approach the 2026 midterm elections.



What Happened:&nbsp;The latest Quantus Insights poll shows a significant shift in&nbsp;Trump&#8217;s approval rating among baby&nbsp;boomers. Last month, the approval and disapproval ratings were evenly split at 49 percent. 



However, this month&#8217;s poll reveals a 15-point swing in Trump&#8217;s favor, with 56 percent approval and 41 percent disapproval.



Despite declining approval ratings among younger Americans and other key demographics, this turnaround emphasizes Trump&#8217;s enduring appeal among older conservatives. Baby boomers, who were instrumental in Trump&#8217;s 2024 victory, continue to be a vital part of his political base.



While the Quantus Insights poll&nbsp;indicates a surge in boomer support for Trump, other polls suggest&nbsp;that his approval rating among&nbsp;this demographic has remained relatively&nbsp;consistent in recent months.

A&nbsp;YouGov/Economist poll found Trump&#8217;s rating&nbsp;among over-65s holding steady at&nbsp;45 percent approve/53 percent disapprove&nbsp;in June—barely changed from May&#8217;s&nbsp;numbers of 45/51.



Why It Matters: Trump&#8217;s standing with boomers, however, could be jeopardized in the coming months following the passage of Trump&#8217;s &#8220;Big Beautiful Bill&#8221; last Thursday. 



This legislation is set to slash approximately&nbsp;$1.1 trillion in health care&nbsp;spending and result in 11.8&nbsp;million people losing Medicaid health&nbsp;insurance over the next decade,&nbsp;according to&nbsp;estimates from the nonpartisan Congressional&nbsp;Budget Office.



Recent polls show&nbsp;that a majority of Americans&nbsp;oppose Trump&#8217;s One Big Beautiful&nbsp;Bill Act. A Quinnipiac poll&nbsp;conducted June 22-24 found that&nbsp;55 percent of Americans oppose&nbsp;the bill. 



A Fox News&nbsp;survey from June 13-16 put&nbsp;opposition even higher, at 59&nbsp;percent. This opposition, particularly from a demographic reliant on healthcare, could potentially impact Trump&#8217;s approval ratings in the future.
