Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NVDA">NVDA</a>) CEO Jensen Huang says the company's market share in China has <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/10/48097863/jensen-huang-drops-bombshell-warning-nvidias-guidance-assumes-china-zero-says-us-could-hurt-american-companies-worse-with-total-tech-ban">collapsed from 95% to zero</a>.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Huang Says ‘We Are 100% Out Of China'</h2>



Earlier this week, speaking at the Citadel Securities Future of Global Markets 2025 event, Huang said, "At the moment, we are 100% out of China."



He continued, "We went from 95% market share to 0%. I can't imagine any policymaker thinking that's a good idea—that whatever policy we implemented caused America to lose one of the largest markets in the world to zero."



Huang said that <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/earnings/25/08/47371649/nvidia-q2-earnings-highlights-double-beat-60b-share-buyback-huang-says-ai-race-is-on">Nvidia's financial forecasts</a> now assume no revenue from China.



"In all of our forecasts, if there are any shareholders out there, we're assuming zero for China. If anything happens in China—which I hope it will—it'll be a bonus," he said.



He added that China remains "the second-largest computer market in the world" and "a vibrant ecosystem," warning that cutting off access will harm both nations. "I think it's a mistake for the United States not to participate," he said.

That sweetener was well received by markets, helping Wall Street rebound <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/macro-economic-events/25/10/48168513/taco-strikes-again-says-peter-schiff-as-trump-calls-xi-jinping-wonderful-president-amid-china-trade-escalation-what-economists-are-saying">early in the week.</a>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Powell's Dovish Tone Added Fuel To The Recovery</h3>



The recovery was also fueled by stronger-than-expected bank earnings and by dovish remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.



Powell warned of mounting risks to employment, another indication that the central bank is likely to continue easing borrowing costs, bolstering bets on a rate <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/real-estate/25/10/48224282/interest-rates-mortgages-housing-real-estate-market-outlook-reits-stocks">cut later this month.</a>

Yet cracks are beginning to show further down the ladder among smaller regional lenders.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Credit Concerns Resurface With Zions And Western Alliance</h3>



Markets were reminded of that fragility on Thursday, when a new wave of volatility hit the sector as several regional banks flagged credit problems. Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/ZION">ZION</a>) disclosed it would record a $50 million charge-off in the third quarter, tied to two troubled commercial and industrial loans held by its California Bank &amp; Trust unit.



Meanwhile, Western Alliance Bancorp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/WAL">WAL</a>) revealed it had filed a lawsuit against a borrower alleging fraud. Shares of both banks plunged by double digits on Thursday, while the broader regional banking industry suffered its worst <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/economic-data/25/10/48262259/regional-banks-zions-bancorporation-western-alliance-bancorp-kre-etf-credit-risks-defaults">single-day loss since April.</a>



Adding to the unease, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon warned of rising credit risk during the earnings call, citing the recent bankruptcies of Tricolor Holdings, a subprime auto lender, and First Brands, an auto parts manufacturer. "When you see one cockroach, there's probably more," Dimon said.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Gold Surges To All-Time Highs</h3>



Gold continued its unstoppable rally, reaching new record highs of $4,350 per ounce — up more than 60% since the start of the year, marking its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/commodities/25/10/48238332/gold-versus-bitcoin-which-is-better-safe-haven-2025-outlook-price-forecasts">strongest performance since 1979.</a> 



Gold-mining stocks have soared by triple digits, and analysts suggest the rally may still be <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/25/10/48200237/newmonts-140-stock-surge-may-be-just-the-start-gold-miners-never-been-cheaper-blackrock-says">in its early stages</a>.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Detroit Auto Stocks Find Relief Ahead of Earnings</h3>



For Michigan-based stocks, the week ended on a brighter note. Shares of General Motors Co. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/GM">GM</a>), Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/F">F</a>) and Stellantis N.V. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/STLA">STLA</a>) rebounded from last week's losses, up around 6%, 4.3%, and 6.2%, respectively, as improved trade and interest-rate sentiment lifted the auto sector.



Next week, GM and Ford will report quarterly earnings on Oct. 21 and 23, respectively.

The future of America&#8217;s baby boomers is under threat, warns &#8220;Rich Dad, Poor Dad&#8221; author&nbsp;Robert Kiyosaki. 



In a post on X last week, Kiyosaki predicted an impending homelessness crisis among this generation, attributing the looming issue to the Federal Reserve&#8217;s policies.



As a baby boomer himself, Kiyosaki opined that the Federal Reserve&#8217;s practice of printing fiat currency is leading to price hikes, making life increasingly difficult for the average American. 



He argued that this policy is disproportionately benefiting asset owners, while leaving the poor and middle class in a lurch.



&#8220;Baby Boom Retirements are going to be wiped out. Many boomers will be homeless or living in their kids basement. Sad,&#8221; he said.

YouTube sensation&nbsp;MrBeast&nbsp;has submitted a trademark application for a cryptocurrency exchange and payment service, expanding his footprint in the digital finance landscape.



Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has filed a trademark for MrBeast Financial. The application suggests that the trademark will be utilized for a downloadable app providing cryptocurrency exchange and payment processing services.



The <a href="https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=99440901&amp;caseSearchType=US_APPLICATION&amp;caseType=DEFAULT&amp;searchType=statusSearch">application </a>also includes services like investment banking,&nbsp;insurance, financial wellness education, microfinance&nbsp;lending, and the &#8220;financial&nbsp;exchange of cryptocurrency via decentralized&nbsp;exchanges (DEXs).&#8221;



However, to link his financial brand&nbsp;to a crypto exchange or&nbsp;payments platform, MrBeast will&nbsp;have to register as a&nbsp;Money Services Business with FinCEN and&nbsp;obtain&nbsp;approval from the SEC or Commodities and&nbsp;Futures Trading Commission.

The recent trademark application was submitted&nbsp;last week by Donaldson's Beast&nbsp;Holdings parent company and is still awaiting assignment to an examiner. 



If approved, it will add to the&nbsp;portfolio of 52 different trademarks&nbsp;owned by his company.



MrBeast&#8217;s move into the crypto space is a significant development, given his massive online following. His venture into cryptocurrency exchange and payment services could potentially influence his millions of subscribers and further mainstream the use of digital currencies.

YouTube Celebrity MrBeast Dives Deeper Into Crypto With New Trademark Filing

President Donald Trump&#8216;s economic approval rating has experienced a significant decline. 



According to the CNBC All-America Economic Survey, there seems to be a growing negative sentiment among Americans towards the economy in Q3.



The <a href="https://fm.cnbc.com/applications/cnbc.com/resources/editorialfiles/2025/10/17/CNBC_All-America_Economic_Survey_Q3_2025.pdf">survey </a>revealed that there is a slump in President Trump&#8217;s net approval rating on the economy, which now stands at 42%, with a disapproval rating of 55%. This -13 net approval is the lowest ever recorded in any CNBC survey during Trump&#8217;s two terms.



Trump&#8217;s overall approval rating also witnessed a dip, falling to 44% from 46%, while disapproval increased by&nbsp;1 percentage point to 52%.&nbsp;This follows the second-term trend of Trump&#8217;s economic approval rating trailing behind his overall approval rating.



The survey, carried out from October 8-12, found that 53% of respondents attribute&nbsp;the potential economic fallout from&nbsp;the shutdown to&nbsp;Republicans in Congress and the&nbsp;president, while 37% blame Democrats.

The public&#8217;s perception of the economy has become increasingly negative, with 27% rating the economy as&nbsp;good or excellent and 72%&nbsp;describing it as just fair&nbsp;or poor. Only 32% of the public anticipates the economy to improve next year, marking&nbsp;the lowest level since March&nbsp;2024.



The plummeting approval rating for President Trump&#8217;s economic policies signifies growing public discontent. The survey results reflect the public&#8217;s dissatisfaction with the handling of inflation and cost of living issues, as well as the economic fallout from the shutdown. 



This could potentially influence the political landscape and policy-making decisions in the future. The negative outlook for the economy also raises concerns about the economic recovery and growth prospects for the coming year.

He added that his administration sought a &#8220;fair&#8221; trade relationship with Beijing.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Meetings Across Asia</h2>



Diplomatic preparations are underway across Asia for a busy late-October schedule.



Bessent confirmed that Trump would visit Malaysia on October 26 to attend the signing of a Cambodia-Thailand peace accord during an ASEAN summit.



Chinese Premier Li Qiang and other regional leaders are also expected to participate in the ASEAN meetings from October 26 to 28.



Trump will then travel to South Korea on October 29 for a two-day visit ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum, where he is set to meet Xi from October 31 to November 1.

Scott Bessent's 'Constructive' Call Sets Up US–China Negotiations

Litecoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/ltc/usd">LTC</a>) could soon see its exchange-traded fund debut on Wall Street, but creator Charlie Lee said it was a "headache" and wished he hadn't gone through with it.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Don&#8217;t Do Anything Else But Buy Bitcoin, Says Lee</h2>



During an interview with&nbsp;CoinDesk&nbsp;that aired Sept. 30,&nbsp;Lee was asked for advice he would give to his younger self.



My advice for myself would just to be, I think this would be surprising to a lot of people, but which is to buy Bitcoin, store it away, don&#8217;t sell anything and don&#8217;t do anything else related to crypto. Just sit on it and be anonymous,&#8221; Lee replied.



Lee, a former Google employee, disclosed that creating Litecoin did not make him&nbsp;more money and was &#8220;a lot of headache.&#8221;



&#8220;I really envy Satoshi [Nakamoto] sometimes for what he was able to do, hopefully still alive. But being able to walk away and still no one knows who you are is powerful,&#8221; he added.

On the hourly chart, AOP is consolidating inside a descending resistance structure while holding firm above its $0.078–$0.077 liquidity base.&nbsp;



The token trades near $0.08, pressing against the downtrend line, with resistance between $0.0825–$0.0830.



RSI has stabilized around 45, while the major EMAs are tightly clustered near $0.081–$0.082, signaling compression ahead of a volatility breakout.



A confirmed move above $0.083 could open a path toward $0.10, followed by possible extensions to $0.15 and $0.20 — a move that would represent a potential 300% rise.&nbsp;



Failure to defend the $0.077 base, however, could expose deeper liquidity zones near $0.074.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Binance Alpha Incentives Trigger $5.8 Billion AOP Volume Surge</h3>



AOP's 24-hour trading volume surpassed $5.8 billion on Binance Alpha, <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/binance-alpha/">accounting</a> for roughly 70% of total exchange turnover.&nbsp;



The spike coincided with Binance's short-term incentive program rewarding users with leaderboard points for high-frequency trades and limit order volume.



Quadruple point multipliers for certain order types encouraged rapid turnover, creating a feedback loop that inflated activity.&nbsp;



Analysts caution that while the incentives boosted reported liquidity, they may not reflect sustained demand once the campaign ends.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Whale Supply Concentration Could Spark Violent AOP Price Swings</h3>



Only 300 million tokens are <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ark-of-panda/">currently</a> in circulation from a 2 billion total supply as per CoinMarketCap.&nbsp;



Concentrated ownership increases volatility potential, with a small number of large holders able to influence short-term price moves.

DOGE And SHIB Are Done — Another Meme Coin Could Soon See 300% Upside

Blockchain company Ripple Labs is spearheading an initiative to raise at least $1 billion to create an XRP (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/xrp/usd">XRP</a>)-focused cryptocurrency treasury, according to a report published on Thursday.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A Dedicated XRP Treasury Company In The Offing?</h2>



The funds will be raised through a special purpose acquisition company, Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-10-17/ripple-labs-said-to-lead-1-billion-fundraise-for-xrp-hoard">reported</a>, citing sources familiar with the matter.



The raised funds will be shifted to a newly established digital-asset treasury. Ripple Labs will also&nbsp;contribute some of its own&nbsp;XRP to the treasury, the report said.



Ripple didn&#8217;t immediately return <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/">Benzinga</a>&#8216;s request for comment.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Race For XRP Treasuries Is Heating Up</h2>



This is not the first time corporations have considered hoarding the $134 billion asset for their reserves. 



In June, Singapore-based Trident Digital Tech Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/TDTH">TDTH</a>) announced plans <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/crypto/cryptocurrency/25/06/45911878/xrp-down-2-but-singapore-firm-announces-500-million-xrp-treasury-plan">to invest up to $500 million for an XRP treasury</a>.



Similarly, Nature&#8217;s Miracle Holding Inc.&nbsp;(OTCQB:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/NMHI">NMHI</a>), a publicly listed vertical farming technology firm, announced plans in July to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/25/07/46581609/xrp-gets-its-own-treasury-company-look-whos-building-a-20-million-xrp-reserve">invest up to $20 million for an XRP treasury</a> program.



This fundraising report coincides with the company&#8217;s $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury, a Chicago-based fintech firm specializing in providing treasury management solutions.
