International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IBM#NYSE">IBM</a>) on Tuesday disclosed a collaboration with Oracle Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ORCL#NYSE">ORCL</a>) to integrate IBM&#8217;s premier AI platform, Watsonx, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/n45213081/ibm-and-oracle-expand-partnership-to-advance-agentic-ai-and-hybrid-cloud" rel="noreferrer noopener">with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)</a>.
This latest development in their partnership aims to leverage OCI&#8217;s built-in AI capabilities to foster a new wave of AI-powered productivity and efficiency across businesses, particularly through multi-agentic systems.
IBM&#8217;s Watsonx Orchestrate AI agents will be available on OCI in July, integrating with Oracle&#8217;s AI Agent Studio and OCI AI services for unified multi-agent management across Oracle and non-Oracle systems.
Initially focused on HR, watsonx Orchestrate on OCI (Red Hat OpenShift) supports various cloud regions and hybrid deployments, performing AI inferencing on OCI.
Greg Pavlik, executive vice president, AI and Data Management Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, said, &#8220;IBM and Oracle have been collaborating to drive customer success for decades, and our expanded partnership will provide customers new ways to help transform their businesses with AI.&#8221;
In a separate release, IBM introduced new hybrid cloud technologies designed to overcome traditional <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/n45213085/ibm-accelerates-enterprise-gen-ai-revolution-with-hybrid-capabilities" rel="noreferrer noopener">obstacles in scaling enterprise AI</a>.
The company projects that the app landscape will explode to over a billion by 2028, intensifying the pressure on organizations to achieve scalability across increasingly complex and fragmented IT ecosystems.
In April, the company disclosed a&nbsp;$150 billion&nbsp;investment plan in the U.S.&nbsp;over the next five years to drive economic growth and strengthen its <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com//node/45041909" rel="noreferrer noopener">position as a global computing leader</a>.

ON Semiconductor expects second-quarter adjusted revenue of $1.40 billion—$1.45 billion, compared to the analyst consensus estimate of $1.42 billion. The company expects quarterly adjusted EPS of $0.48–$0.58 (above the analyst consensus estimate of $0.45) and an adjusted gross margin of 36.5%-38.5%.
ON Semiconductor shares dipped 8.4% to close at $38.41 on Monday.

Rivian Automotive Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RIVN#NASDAQ">RIVN</a>) will receive $16 million in state incentives and tax breaks as the EV maker looks to expand its manufacturing unit in Illinois and build a supplier park.
What Happened: The company will receive the incentives from the local government, which includes tax breaks worth over $5 million from Illinois' REV (Reimagining Energy and Vehicles) program, according to a statement from the company on Monday.
Rivian is expected to invest $120 million to build the supplier park, which will help boost its lineup's production in the U.S. The supplier park is expected to span an area of 1.2 million square feet and will create hundreds of jobs, the company shared.
"We are excited to see this supplier park coming together so quickly. This will be a key enabler to increasing production at the plant in 2026 when we start to build R2 in addition to R1 and our commercial vans," Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe said.
Why It Matters: Rivian is gearing up for<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/25/05/45205696/rivian-q1-earnings-preview-all-eyes-on-r2-launch-analyst-says-no-catalysts-in-2025"> its earnings call</a>, all set to take place on Tuesday. Analysts expect the company to share updates on the anticipated Rivian R2, which is the company's affordable 5-seater SUV.
