Constellation expects to fund the cash portion of the transaction through a combination of cash on hand.
The company held $1.79 billion in <a href="https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0001868275/000186827524000069/ceg-20240930.htm">cash and equivalents as of Sept. 30, 2024</a>.
Price Action: Constellation Energy shares are trading higher by 14.4% at $279.00 in premarket at the last check Friday.
